There are so many myths about Autistic people that it hurts my brain.

1. There is a vast amount of research that indicates that we (autistic people) have *very high* levels of empathy

2. Just like anyone else, autistic people can be either introverted or extroverted. (I'm an extrovert, for example)

3. Many of us have have very 'steady' and 'direct' eye-contact that a neurotypcial would define as 'good'. Mine is so steady that I have to look away on purpose at times. We might just be made that way, or masking. Eye contact should never be forced, and eyes should look and move where they need to.
