MulderLab

MulderLab We develop complex and multifunctional nanomaterials, innovative synthesis methods as well as nanoparticle libraries.

The MulderLab spans two research teams, at Radboud University Medical Center and Eindhoven University of Technology, working on establishing nanotech-based immunotherapeutics. Nano-TMII is directed by Dr. Willem Mulder and is funded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, the National Cancer Institute and NHLBI’s Program of Excellence in Nanotechnology. The mission of Nano-TMII is to devel

op and translate nanomedical approaches towards targeted therapy and molecular imaging of cardiovascular disease and cancer. The preclinical application in models of cardiovascular disease and cancer includes targeted therapy as well as the characterization of disease biology through nanoparticle-enhanced molecular imaging with computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and fluorescence imaging. Nano-TMII is also affiliated with the Department of Vascular Medicine at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in Amsterdam. The clinical translation of anti-inflammatory nanotherapies is done in close collaboration with our AMC clinical partners. http://www.amc.nl/web/Research/Departments/Overview/Experimental-Vascular-Medicine/Experimental-Vascular-Medicine-1/Current-Research-4.htm
