Our story
Dr. Johan van Dijk was motivated by the discomfort that his patients experienced in periodontal treatment and aftercare to develop a technique to ensure optimal and pain free subgingival cleaning. The invention is patented and he build a prototype to conduct efficacy research.
2017
The company Gum Irrigator is raised with co-founder Sophie van Dijk (his daughter) in the role of CEO. Carduso Capital is the financial funding partner.
