During the event, a milestone was reached when 12 Dutch universities and academic medical centers introduced standard intellectual property transfer agreements to spin-off companies!🚀 The agreements aim to boost consistency and transparency, while reducing agreement time.

In the last edition of Startup in Residence Northern Netherlands, .co partnered with the Municipality of Leeuwarden to address the issue of finding a solution to mitigate the effects of climate change. 🌏

Waterweg has taken on the significant challenge of creating a circular system, which requires all chain partners to be ready and innovate in a circular way.
Wies van Lieshout says that over the next two years, they will focus on creating such a system through various projects to scale up their production.📈
Founders Eva and Wies found participating in Startup in Residence to be a valuable step, stating that it was a great opportunity to expand their business to North Netherlands.✨

The mission of alumnus Waterweg: build with dredging.

Last season, they participated in Startup in Residence Noord-Nederland and partnered with the municipality of Leeuwarden. They are hard at work preparing a dredging consortium so they can join forces to use this valuable stream in a sustainable way.
