Some days I feel I’m more like a police officer than a mother 👮
I find myself losing my temper and sounding like a drill instructor

Sometimes my kids eat so much sugar and crap food 🍭🍰🍩
I’m sure it will destroy their gut health

My kids still don’t listen when they fall off the trampoline for the 100th time and nearly break their neck, which makes me want to scream! 🤬

I still get into arguments with my teenage daughter despite my best efforts to stay calm and count to 10 🙄

Sometimes I’m so inconsistent with implementing rules and boundaries,
it’s no wonder the kids rule our household 😳

On certain days I worry about my kids’ mental health and struggle how to go about it 😮‍💨

My kids’ rooms are a complete mess despite all the hot parenting tips to get them to tidy them 🥺

I sometimes feel like a complete failure as a parent and wonder if I’ll ever get it right…. 🥲

Then at other days, s**t just flows effortlessly in our family 🥰

The kids are happy and lend a helping hand out of their own accord 🥳

I manage to stay calm in the midst of a meltdown 🙌

My daughter writes me lovely notes saying I’m the best mum ever 😍

My son invites his friends over and I watch him beam with confidence 😊

I feel I’m totally on top of things and know I’ve got this! 🙋🏽‍♀️

And so the reminder is it’s not about perfection, it’s about progress;
Just to go with the flow and ride the waves of life 🌊

My husband is like my car 🥰
After about 400.000 kilometres I had to trade it in 🧑‍🔧

Sometimes you just have to do it 😔
Even though it’s very hard 💔

I get emotionally attached to things and people ❤️‍🔥
I talk to my car and thank it for taking me to places safely 🙏

You probably think I’m a little crazy 😵‍💫
Maybe that’s what happens after three car accidents….
But I believe in good Karma 🍀

So I blessed our new car the Balinese way
I even got a Ganesha for on the dashboard 😊

You’re thinking I traded in my husband as well, right?
He’s not even close to 400.000 kilometres though… 😂

But my new car is a lot more like him:
It’s so comfortable, very reliable and makes me feel safe 🧷

Driving it makes me feel like a princess, 👸
And it has all the bells and whistles I always wanted ✨

It’s a beautiful beast 🔥
Just like my husband 💖

12 years ago I went to Africa to teach homeopathy for the first time 🌍
I was invited by a rural university for girls in Uganda 🧑‍🎓

Together with 2 Dutch colleagues we also set up a clinic to help the local community
We’d watch them line up for hours to be treated by us for their health problems 🌟

I saw horrible diseases in the impoverished villages I only ever read about in old medical books
I watched the sometimes miracle cures our remedies performed 🪄

The gratitude of the people I’ll never forget 🙏
The enthusiasm the students displayed when they saw the results
Knowing they could now do the same to help their people
Still gives me goosebumps 😊

I then joined Homeopaths Without Borders as a Secretary
My dream was to really make an impact in Africa and war affected countries ⚠️
Helping people with PTSD, trauma, epidemics and physical injuries 🤕

2 years ago I made it my mission to have a homeopathic First Aid kit in every home by 2030 ⛑️
All proceeds from my Mastering Your Child’s Natural Health Program are put toward this goal

Last week I attended an international Homeopathy Conference 🎤
There they spoke about the results of running a homeopathic health and education center in Gambia

They need experienced teachers teach homeopathy over there
It reignited that spark I first felt in Africa and the love I have for teaching homeopathy ✨

It reminded me of an an old saying
and it made me realise how important it is to teach people how to fish
instead of just bringing them fish 🎣

I'm curious to know: hat do you love to teach others?

💕 30yrs ago I married my first husband & then got divorced 7yrs later because it was a violent relationship ☠️

💫 I then nearly died from blood poisoning which really confronted me with what life I wanted to live 💥

✝️ After that my father passed away from alcoholism; really, he was dead years ago because an alcoholic isn't a dad

✨ And a few years back we lost a cafe business due to Covid which took years to recover from 😞

😃 But today I am really happy, because for 14 yrs I’ve been married to my best friend who supports all my health & business goals 🗽

🧑‍⚕️ For over 23 yrs I’ve been running a very successful homeopathic clinic, which really makes my heart sing 💓

🔥 I then created an online course to help more mums take care of their kids naturally without toxic pharmaceuticals,
because I truly believe the way to a better life is to create a healthy generation of kids from the inside out 💖

🙌 and I’m super excited because I’m creating a new programme for mums who want to help detox, rebuild and boost their kids gut health & immune system, all natural.

I just need is a few people to test it 💯% FOR FREE before I launch it 🚀

It’s been 9 months since my 🚗car crash 💥and I’m still not better

I was hit from behind and it left me with a whiplash
For ages I ignored the pain and just kept going 🐎
Thinking it would get better with time and that I could do it alone

⏰ Even though I could barely sit for 20 minutes at a time,
🥱lost so much sleep that my head was spinning,
🧠the daily headaches I thought were caused by other things
😣My emotions were all over the place

Eventually it brought me to a complete stop 🛑
I didn't know how hard I’d been running 🏃‍♀️

Only after experts told me how serious things were
did I actually ask for help 🆘

The eye 👁 cannot see itself
It needs a mirror🪞

Only when I accepted the pain
could the healing begin ☯️

I share this to say

Don’t be like me
Don’t try to be strong all the time 🏋️‍♀️
It’s ok to not be ok
And it's 🆗 to ask for help 🫂
