Are you a (bio-)medical student who is interested in neuroscience and neurology? This year Summer School Translational Neurosciences 'Ageing Brian' will take place in July 2022, in the beautiful city of Groningen in The Netherlands. This year's educational program consists of 5 full days of inspiring and interactive lectures, workshops and field trips covering a broad spectrum of topics like brain

anatomy, brain development, neuropathology, neuropsychiatry and ageing research. If you are a motivated student, interested in exploring the frontiers of neuroscience, please submit your application before 17th of April 2022. Our Story

Welcome everybody! We would like to invite you to participate in this years’ Summer School ‘Ageing Brain’ in Groningen, the Netherlands. Our committee consists of eight enthusiastic medical students and together we will be organizing this Summer School. We are aiming to make it an unforgettable experience for you! During the Summer School, you will be offered a sophisticated educational programme with many interesting lectures, workshops, fieldtrips and challenging assignments. Together with our best professors and doctors we will take you on a journey into the fascinating world of the mind and the central nervous system in general. Apart from clinical topics, scientific research within the field of neurology, with a focus on the “ageing brain”, will play a major role. On top of all this, there will be plenty of time to relax and have fun with other medical students from all over the world. You will get the chance to experience the Dutch culture and Groningen’s vibrant student life. If you are a motivated student, interested in exploring the frontiers of neuroscience, please submit your application before April 1st 2017. The selection of students will be based on a motivation letter, resume and an abstract or literature review. Do not hesitate to send them in and let your neurons fire this summer!
