Here are some yoga exercises you can do for your feet and ankles, an often overlooked body part.

1. While standing slowly rotate onto the outside of your feet to gently stretch the outside of your ankle. Alternate back and forth from one foot to the other.

2. From standing extend your foot and curl your toe under, so the top of the toe is touching the mat or ground. Gently press into your toe, possibly straightening your leg. This will stretch the top of your foot, ankle and shins.

3. From a seated position with both legs extended in front of you, bend one leg and place your ankle on your thigh. Spread our toes as much as possible and try to get your fingers in between your toes. Then rotate your foot around in a circle, eventually reverse the direction.

4. From seated with both legs extended, alternate flexing and pointing each toe.

Box breathing is a controlled breathing technique rooted in pranayama, the yogic practice of breath regulation.
It involves inhaling, holding, exhaling, and holding again for equal lengths of time.
Practiced for a few minutes, it can help oxygenate the blood, regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus, and bring the breath back to a steady, balanced rhythm.
