The Benefits of Being Single
I hope you donāt mind me being a little vulnerable for a moment.
Iāve been in relationships for most of my adult life. I met some truly amazing people. We shared mostly good memories, with a few hard lessons woven in. I experienced things I never would have known if I hadnāt taken chances on loveāand Iām grateful for all of it.
Iāve been single now for about two years, and something unexpected happened: I finally had space to breathe. To get my bearings. To hear my own thoughts without interference.
What society doesnāt really teachāat least not here in Utahāis that being single actually rocks.
My life feels spacious. My time is my own. Iāve explored new hobbies, followed curiosities, and focused on self-improvement at a pace that feels natural instead of pressured. Thereās no rush, no negotiating my inner rhythm, no shrinking to fit someone elseās timeline.
And if I do meet someone someday, it will be completely organic. I donāt go to church. I donāt go to bars. I donāt use dating apps. Sheāll basically have to drop from the skyāor walk into my life in a way that feels unmistakably aligned.
So if youāre single, donāt rush to escape it.
Be grateful.
Youāre not āmissing out.ā
Youāre standing in a powerful positionāone where you can consciously shape your dream life, strengthen your roots, and become fully yourself.
Thatās not a waiting room.
Thatās a launchpad. š«¶š¼
