Part 2 of the experimenting with your spiritual gifts, museum edition focuses on clairsentence (clear feeling).

Artefacts can be powerful conductors for energy and can store them. Some people are very sensitive to this. A museum can be the perfect environment to experiment with your gift to see how objects and spaces affect you and what this tells you about them.

If you decide to try this at an antique store instead of a museum, please consult the owner first and be respectful of their space and objects ♥️

In my previous post I explained how I realized that our gifts often manifest in situations where we are actually not just sitting by ourselves.

Indeed, whilst making the "spiritual gifts explained series" I realized my own gifts often manifested (without me realising) when I was learning about history or visiting a museum!

Que the birth of a new series: experimenting with your spiritual gifts, museum edition!

I am starting out the series with claircognizance (clear knowing), and will slowly add clairsentence (clear feeling), Clairsalience (clear smelling) and clairgustance (clear tasting).

You will notice clairvoyance (clear seeing) and clairaudience (clear hearing) are not part of this series. In my own experience museums are a little too loud energetically or there are too many people around to ensure focus for these gifts. I will, however, suggest other ways to experiment with those in different settings in future posts.

This has been going through my mind ever since I made the series of posts on our spiritual gifts and today was finally the day to share it.

So much of the spiritual tools available are about turning within, meditating, sitting still.... And yet in their purest, rawest expression, our gifts rarely manifest when we are sitting by ourselves in total silence.

Which made me wonder: what if we are going about this all wrong?

I have saved the most well known of the clairs for last, as I feel we sometimes focus a little too much on it. (I appreciate the irony in me writing this as I do 1-on-1 sessions to describe people's spirit worlds and guides lol).

I have, however, tried to include something that is perhaps lesser known in there: the seeing of energy. Ever since I was a child, I can sometimes see molecules moving under certain conditions: it is like seeing a lot of small back dots flying around and vibrating. When I am close to water it is sometimes like seeing the energetic flow of the water, with shadow and light combined, which can sometimes be quite hard to look at due to the brightness.

I have never heard anyone talk about this aspect of clairvoyance and would love to hear it if this is something you experience as well, or if you have other experiences you would like to share ♥️

Now claircognizance, or clear knowing, has to be one of the trickiest of the spiritual gifts. It is so easy to dismiss an intuitive thought by introducing another which simply states 'Don't be silly, you have no way of knowing that" or the classic "Oh I probably read/ saw that somewhere". To truly use this gift is to fully trust yourself and your intuition and that is not an easy task.

It can be hard to distinguish between just a thought and an innate knowing. The difference is usually a vague innate sense of "no, I am right" and "this is truth". And then the trick is to not talk yourself out of it.

As someone who has this gift, I know just how much it can feel like a leap of faith. But I promise you, it is worth the leap. It also gets easier to recognize the more often you make the jump.

I think this is one of the most obscure of the gifts out there. My mother and husband both have this, but you definitely do not hear people talk enough about their experience with it.

Whilst this gift isn't particularly strong for me, it's much more developed for my mother and husband.

My mom's gift is very strong as she is able to smell it when someone is either pregnant or ill: even with complete strangers!

For my husband it mostly manifests with food: he knows whether or not a food is good for him by smelling it. He is also really good at detecting when a food is about to go off, so I sometimes actually ask him to smell the food when I am uncertain if it is still safe to eat 😂.
