Ook deze systematische review en meta-analyse concludeert dat gecombineerd met veel effectiever is dan oefenthearpie alleenstaand. Dat is ook zeker mijn ervaring. Eerst met dry needling de spierknopen (spierverkrampingen) weghalen en dan zijn de spieren weer op te trainen. Het gaat beduidend sneller (3 weken gemiddeld) dan alleen oefentherapie ( 6 tot 8 weken). Door dry needling kan iemand sneller pijnvrij bewegen en is dan pas oefen klaar. Deze meeste mensen zijn overigens al sportief en willen zo snel mogelijk weer met sporten aanvangen.

Mijn ervaring is dat na gemiddeld 5x dry needling de elleboogklachten blijvend verwdenen zijn. Hyaluronzuur injectie worden (nog) niet vergoed en kosten 80-150 euro. En moet gedaan worden door een arts.
