Girls Empowerment

Girls Empowerment Providing girls opportunities to fulfill their dreams and develop their potential

What we do
Our mission is to empower young women who are determined to succeed in life, but need a little help to develop themselves into self-respecting persons who can contribute to peace, security and the development of their families, communities and countries. We assist talented girls to access services that help them reach their potential; they will serve as a positive example for their society. How we help
Girls’ Empowerment helps girls to take control over their lives, set their own agendas, gain skills, build self-confidence, solve problems and develop self-reliance. We provide individual assistance such as school fees, scholarships, skills training, small business start-up, psychosocial and health assistance etc. We do not fund big programmes, but assist girls in need on an individual, one to one basis. How you can help
If you would like to support our work, you can contribute to Girls’ Empowerment. Help us to give girls around the world the necessary tools and strength to make life worthwhile!

CHRISTMAS MARKET IN LAKKA BEACH, SIERRA LEONE
Give the girls of Lakka Beach a nice Christmas
present by supporting them building their
(Christmas) Market!

Girls Empowerment supports talented girls one by one! We assist girls setting their own agendas, gaining skills, building self-confidence, solving problems and self- reliance.

Several years after a war that lasted over 10 years, the young girls in Lakka Beach, Sierra Leone, are still trying to build up a future in their community. The Christmas Market is one of Girls Empowerments numerous initiatives and a great opportunity for girls to develop business skills and to make a living- reducing risks of exploitation due to poverty and increase of tourism in the area.
