De første 2 billeder blev taget d. 10/4-24, da jeg havde taget beslutningen om at begynde med Wegovy for at komme af med de mange ekstra kilo, som jeg slæbte rundt på.
Og her 1 år efter har jeg nået det, som jeg ikke turde drømme om. Der er alt i alt blevet 32 kg mindre af mig.
Wegovy er jo næsten et “fy-ord” men jeg havde aldrig smidt så mange kilo uden det. Det indrømmer jeg gerne. Mange folk siger ja ja spis mindre og motioner mere. Men det er bare ikke altid så ligetil.

Men f**k hvor er jeg glad for at jeg gjorde det🤩🤩

I kept going back and forth about posting this but I figured, why not?
After Derrick was born, he never slept. I mean never. It didn’t matter how, who when or where. The lack of sleep caused me to stop caring. I lost my identity.

Two years ago, Feb 2023, I asked a dr to help me. I started taking Wegovy (semaglutide shot) with the game plan of only being on it for a year. I just needed help a jumpstart as I was so unsuccessful on my own. That shot was the best thing that happened. When the weight started coming off I grew my confidence back, I had more energy and I was able to be the mom my kid needed.
I lost 40lbs within that year. I stopped taking the shot Feb 2024 and I have continued to keep that weight off. In fact, I’ve lost some additional weight within the past year!

I didn’t think that what I accomplished was that awesome until one of my friends put it into perspective for me. “Dude, you lost as much weight as your child weighs. That’s awesome!”

Holy s**t, I literally lost a whole tiny human.
Long story short, it’s ok to lose your self and ask for help. I’m glad I did!
