Imagine: you are laying cozy, comfortably and warm in a safe space with your eyes closed. During the singing bowls sound session, therapeutic bowls are placed on your body and you are gently surrounded in a delicate cocoon of sound: deeply relaxing and healing. Your brain enters the state between sleeping and being awake. Your system automatically finds a better balance~

Co-sleeping: yes or no?

I’m a big fan of sleeping with my babies since day 1. Why?

-Feels the safest having my baby nearby, feeling her with all of my sensations.
- No need to fully wake up to breastfeed: I just roll on the other side and we both continue to sleep (as the raw capture in this photo 😁🤍)
- My nervous system is resting better. I feel my baby, so I don’t need to listen or be surprisingly woken up by sound. My body reacts unconsciously and I often wake up before she does.
- Baby sleeps better feeling me nearby: safe & warm
- Feels just so natural and cozy, lots of oxytocin and love floating between ❤️

My older girls moved to a baby bed near ours when I stopped nursing, and later then to their own room.

What to gift a postpartum mother? 🎁

💐When visiting a new mom, skip the stuffed animals and tiny outfits—chances are, she has plenty. What she really needs is practical support.

- Food she doesn’t have to cook (homemade meals, snacks, or a delivery gift card)
- A break (offer to watch the baby so she can nap or shower)
- Help with everyday tasks (laundry, dishes, or grocery shopping)
- Something for *her* (a comfortable shirt, good coffee, or a postpartum massage)
- Zero pressure to entertain (keep visits short and low-maintenance)

4 months into my 3rd postpartum and here’s some myths that I have noticed so far:

1. ‘Breastfeeding will go easily and naturally, you already know how to do this!’ - oh not necessarily at all. Breastfeeding with each baby is a fresh new journey and previous struggles may not mean it will difficult again or vice versa. In my case, my 3rd nursing start was the most sensitive whereas the 1st was very smooth.

2. ‘Coming back to shape’ - I’d rather say rediscovering your new body. It’s just no coming back, something changes a little bit after every birth. I’m learning to love and accept the changes again.

3. ‘You’re such a great mom handling this all on your own’ - aaah well, might be the case, or might be totally the opposite behind the closed doors - an overwhelmed, exhausted mom. Mothers need a lot of help and accepting it might be difficult for some. It’s been a huge learning curve for me to ask for help and receive without feeling indebt. Growing with every child🙏🏻

BITTERSWEET

symphony… the final weeks of the pregnancy carry both the uncomfort and euphoria.

There’s also a mix of sadness, anticipation, great joy and sorrow: none is going to be the same soon. Growing from a family of 4 to 5. Not being able to hold hands of all my kids at the same time. Being able to smeel that divine smell of a newborn. Experiencing the sacred birth passage again 🌊 and so much more…

These months were so intense: a lot of growth has happened in our family. More bonding than ever. I experienced a paradox of joy in misery, which opened a completely new glimpse into days and living.

I remember quite a while ago reading Stephen Wolinsky’s thoughts that on superficial level we perceive emotions as different and give them separate names or labels whereas it is simply the same energy in different forms. Now all of a sudden it makes sense!💡

What a journey… bittersweet and also hopefull for the discoveries to be continued 🙏🏻

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THIS PREGNANCY

Some of the best things in life happen unexpectedly, isn’t it?

I was always feeling a Soul behind my left shoulder waiting for it’s turn and have been vocalizing to my husband that our family is not yet complete for quite a few years.

So enough of waiting, said the Soul, life force is coming ahead. Couldn’t have imagined it will be such a perfect timing at the end✨

It feels like a dessert this time. And not at all because it’s about a pink cloud or sweet cuddles, perhaps quite the opposite. It’s more about the feeling of being gifted with this experience again, understanding the fragility of it, enjoying body changes, baby moves, the inner transformations and findings.

And oh girl! the inner journey was/ is quite something. This summer was so generous with the the most powerful journeys of clarity: you know that inner clarity, when you just finally KNOW between true and false?

It made me braver than ever: to shift my boundaries, to own my voice, to get rid with ease of what does not serve anymore. Both physically and emotionally. To be TRUE to myself. To make some of the dreams happen without hesitation: as simple as returning to a beloved fish restaurant, or diving in the clear waters and capturing my curves.

Baby, what’s that you’re bringing? What’s that life force I never met before?
I’m happy to not know the answers and learn in the process. Mystery of life is unfolding and I feel like I’m gifted with a rare chance to be behind the scenes of this.

And most likely there’s no closure for this sharing… just wanted to capture and cherish so that I can always come back and take a breath of this fresh air when I need it 🙏🏻

To remind myself and you, that being brave & true sometimes means being uncomfortable. But that this uncomfort is like a lotus - looks like a mudy place, which then actually gifts with the purest flowers 🪷
