While a dead Christmas tree is waiting to be collected , cherry blossoms are beginning to decorate the scene. Death and new life are happening at the same time. As always. Even if we don't notice it at all times...

It is snowing here in Maastricht now.
Is that beautiful? Horrible? Fun? Difficult?
How are you feeling about that?
All that depends on many factors, right? Such as our past experiences, memories, and our current experience with snow.

Actually, that applies to almost any subject. We might be feeling similarly about a thing, but it'll never be the same with somebody else's experience.
We are quite similar yet so different.
We are all in this together but at the same time totally alone, and that can be scary and/or comforting.

I hope you'll be able to enjoy the snow now and life in general. 😊

This time of the year is usually very festive but at the same time it can be a very difficult time for many people.

If you can't be with your loved ones during Christmas and the New Year's Eve, if you've recently lost a loved one or if you're not on great terms with family, it might as well be a triggering time.

If that's the case, I wish you strength and peace of mind along with a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I hope this new year will be a lot easier on you than the previous one and I hope it will bring you whatever you need the most!
