Cartesio is a professional CNC machine, that does 3D printing at best with as many materials as you like. Those materials include plastics like PLA, ABS, XT, Nylon and flexible filaments, but also include pastes, like ceramics and chocolate, and even bio-based material. (also known under the proprietary name FDM by Stratasys)
Because we make CNC machines, you are not limited to 3Dprinting. You can attach a maximum of 4 powered tools, multiple 3D printer extruders, plotter, mill, engraver. Let us know what new tool you would like. Cartesio comes standard with a heated bed that goes up to 150 degrees Celsius. This is to print with more exotic materials like PC and PP. We can do custom build sizes and custom tools and even have an option for mass production where 1 machine can make 4 copies of the same product at the same time. With our new V12 (it is rapid prototyping after all) we have one of the most mature 3D printing platforms in the world today. Our assembled Cartesio 3D printer comes with a CE certification according to the machine guideline 2006/42/CE and there for may be used in your school, business, office or home. Manufacturing and Production of our 3Dprinter is done in the Netherlands in Europe, but 80% is shipped worldwide. Some examples are America, Germany, Singapore, France and Australia.
