What makes Bo Weevil towels just that little bit different from, for example, HEMA towels?

The biggest difference is, of course, that Bo Weevil towels are GOTS certified. This means that the cotton used to make the towels is 100% organic and grown without the use of chemical pesticides.

They are also produced and dyed in the most environmentally friendly way. As a result, the towels contain no toxic or skin-unfriendly residues.

Definitely good to know when you dry yourself off every day.

The Dutch are avid bread eaters. Of course, the best thing is a fresh loaf every day. When you consider how many plastic or paper bread bags are used because of that, a cotton bread bag is truly ideal. The bag is easy to wash and can therefore be reused many times.

In general, we are not big on New Year’s resolutions, as you can start a good habit at any time of the year. But since we are beginning a new year, we are curious to know whether you have any plans. And if we may offer a few tips, think in small steps — for example: buy fewer clothes, pay attention to the fabric of garments (polyester is a no-brainer), consider whether an item can be repaired, and so on.

Of course, we are a little biased, but cotton is a truly beautiful raw material from which the finest fabrics are made. That said, if you have any questions about fabrics (even if they are not cotton), please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to explain how to assess and compare different materials.

The end of the year is already in sight! Looking back over the past months, we really see how many beautiful things we have been able to create for our customers once again. Of course, there is our regular collection, but the bags, toiletry bags and other products we make to order are especially enjoyable to work on.

Bandanas for Amnesty International, toiletry bags for Botanical Beauty, bags for the Anne Frank Foundation, Het Faire Oosten, Horizon Nut Spreads, De Veldkeuken, Behind the Pines, De Aanzet, Ekoplaza, washcloths for Rescued, pouches for Tuindreef — far too many to mention. And all made from organic or recycled cotton, by our fantastic partners in India. They ultimately do the work, with great care and dedication.

It is becoming increasingly important that products can be recycled, so that the raw materials can be used again and again, rather than ending up in landfill or the incinerator. ♻️

All of our (toiletry) bags are made from 100% organic cotton — in other words, from a single fibre. The big advantage of this is that they can be recycled very effectively.

So if you decide to dispose of one of our bags, please make sure it is recycled and does not end up in landfill.
