Yes We Can Youth Clinics is specialised in healthcare for young people, from 13 to 25 years old, suffering from behavioural disorders, addictions and behavioural problems.

After an intensive treatment at Yes We Can Youth Clinics, our fellows are at the very start of their recovery. An exciting time, as they now have to put the tools they’ve learned into practice in everyday life. 🙏 That’s why there’s Yes We Do, our digital aftercare in which fellows are supported and motivated while working towards various goals:

💙 Building a meaningful daily structure throughschool, work or volunteering
💙 Learning to deal with triggers and pitfalls to prevent relapse
💙 Creating a supportive and healthy network

Together with our Expert-by-Experience Counsellors and Coaches, they continue working on their personal development. Taking responsibility for their own recovery is key, but our fellows are never alone. We are there for them, every step of the way on this new path. 🫶

On Friday the 19th of September, we opened both our doors and our hearts during the In-House Day. We welcomed enthusiastic potential Therapists, Youth Coaches and Experts by Experience who wanted to discover what it’s really like to work at Yes We Can Youth Clinics, Yes We Can Clinics and Zero&Sano.

Throughout the day they met our colleagues, listened to the personal and hopeful stories of our fellows and experienced first-hand what it means to work together from a place of strength, connection and hope. We look back on a day full of inspiration, special encounters and valuable conversations. ✨

During treatment at Yes We Can Youth Clinics, impact letters play an important role. In these letters, family members of the fellows have the chance to speak openly about everything that has been going on: about the fellow’s behaviour in the past and how it has affected them. 💙

Although this can be confronting, it is also a vital element in fostering openness. It provides deeper insight into the fellow’s life before Yes We Can and enables us to offer better support during treatment. Impact letters are not about blame, but about clarity. That’s what makes them one of the most valuable tools within our treatment approach. 🙏

Today we light a candle to mark World Su***de Prevention Day. 🕯️ A candle that burns to show support for everyone who has survived an attempt, and to remember the loved ones we have lost. 💫

A theme that feels invisibly close to many young people: struggling with thoughts that life is too heavy to bear. Isa, a former fellow and now Case Manager at Yes We Can, knows what it is like to live in that darkness. But she also shows that there is always hope, no matter how hopeless it may seem. “As long as there is taboo around suicidal thoughts, people will feel alone. By talking about it, we give others hope. And we show that recovery really is possible.”

“Before Yes We Can Youth Clinics, I spent every day in my pyjamas, not showering for months and never leaving the comfort of my bed. I was so depressed that the thought of human contact terrified me. Looking back, Yes We Can genuinely saved and changed my life. I am so much happier now, which was impossible to imagine before. I never want to go back to the way I was before. That keeps me motivated to carry on.” – Former fellow Adam. 🙏

Adam was treated for his depression at Yes We Can Youth Clinics. Now he’s enjoying life again and going to university. We are so proud of all the steps he’s taken during his recovery. 💙
