First South East Asia Association Meeting Malaysia

Friday February 6 and Saturday February 7 the first South East Asia Association Meeting was organized by MULA and CINET in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Association Meeting on February 6th was participated by the associations of CLA- China, DLAI- India, MULA-Malaysia, Laundry Network-Singapore and ASLI-Indonesia (unforeseen absent).

The associations exchanged their activity programs and historic backgrounds, followed by interactive discussions on each other’s way of doing. A lively meeting with interesting topics for follow up.

🚀 Full Speed Ahead: The First CINET AI Project Meeting!

The future of Professional Textile Care is being rewritten with Artificial Intelligence. On January 7th, 18 project participants, AI consultants, and industry specialists gathered in Ophemert to kick off the CINET AI Project initiative.

The energy was high as ambitious AI plans across a variety of topics were discussed. To ensure success, a clear objective has been set: demonstrating the tangible value of AI in PTC.

Key highlights from the kick-off:
- Expert Guidance: Participants are supported by AI consultants and a €2,500 consultancy voucher.
- Ethics First: The NEW CINET AI Code of Conduct was officially introduced and accepted.
- The Race is On: An independent jury will evaluate the projects in March to determine the winner of the PTC AI Award 2026.

Stay tuned! The final results and the award ceremony will take place during the GBPA 26 Conference at Interclean Amsterdam on April 16th, 2026.

1st CINET AI Project Meeting; Full speed Ahead!

Ophemert, January 7th, 2026 - 18 Project Participants, 3 AI Consultants and other industry specialists gathered to be informed about the CINET Artificial Intelligence (AI) Project initiative, project structure and plans to present the results April 16th next at the GBPA 26 Conference at Interclean NL.

The participants applied for projects in a great variety of topics. In many cases, ambitious AI plans were proposed and meanwhile discussed with the AI Consultants. This made it necessary to define a CINET Scope of the projects. A clear objective to demonstrate the value of AI in PTC within the project agreements.

The participants are not only facilitated by an AI voucher of 2.500 for AI Consultancy, but also the NEW CINET AI Code of Conduct was introduced. It was explained by the AI Consultant Michiel Droog and accepted by the project participants. The evaluation of these projects by an independent international jury will decide end of March next, which project will be the WINNER of the PTC AI Award 2026. The presentation of this Award is scheduled for the GBPA 26 Meeting on April 16th, 2026 in at Interclean, Amsterdam, NL.
