Yin yang yoga is a fusion of yin yoga and yang yoga. So it combines the soft, attentive and peaceful of yin yoga with the strengthening and powerful of yang yoga.
Yang yoga poses that generate heat. Yin yoga poses are aimed at the deeper tissues (the joints, attachments and the connective tissue) and are usually held for a long time.
Many yang poses are performed in a standing position, while most yin poses are performed in a sitting or lying position. The combination of both forms balances the stilling, meditative energy of yin with the invigorating, strengthening energy of yang. A dynamic and tranquil yoga class that will be both intensive and above all meditative in nature. The lesson ends with a deep relaxation.
Whether you are young or old, overweight or fit, yoga has the power to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Yoga is for everyone!
The chair exercises are gentle movements and therefore suitable for everyone, regardless of age, size, flexibility or condition. A lesson is aimed at making muscles and joints more flexible. You learn to release tension and improve your concentration and motor skills. During the lessons, respecting your own abilities is central and you learn to deal creatively with any limitations. Relaxation and enjoyment are important to remember , your physical and mental health will improve with regular practice. Everyone can follow these lessons, in which sitting and standing exercises are combined.

REIKI
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning spiritual energy. It is universal life energy. Reiki was founded by Usui Mikao in Japan.
Reiki is a gentle, effective healing practice, treating the whole person, not just symptoms. Its aim is to balance and heal the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. The energy goes where it is most needed in the body.
Reiki is love. Love is wholeness. Wholeness is balance. Balance is wellbeing. Wellbeing is freedom from dis-ease.

What does it feel like?
It varies from person to person but generally, people receiving reiki report feeling deeply relaxed, warm, and cosy. Sometimes people fall asleep, they feel rested, they feel rejuvenated or radiant afterwards. Some people do not feel anything at all but the energy is still flowing through and healing the body.

Meditation benefits
The mind is a collection of thoughts, jumping from ideas to emotions to memories for most of our waking hours.
During meditation you will begin to witness how much movement happens in the mind and how little you live in the present moment. You can learn to observe your thoughts and perhaps begin to change them. Taking a step back and witnessing your thoughts instead of identifying with them is the key to meditation.
