You love the energy of group yoga classes—they’ve helped you build a foundation, stay consistent, and connect with others.

But something still feels off:

➡️ You’re not sure if you’re doing the poses correctly.

➡️ You feel stuck in certain areas, like flexibility or strength.

➡️ The mental clarity you’re craving still feels out of reach.

What you need is a personalised approach to complement your group practice—so you can unlock your next level of strength & mental calm.

In a group class, the teacher has to focus on everyone, and it’s hard to address your unique needs.

This is where private yoga comes in:

🔥 It targets the areas where your body needs it the most (strength & flexibility)

🔥 You gain personalised adjustments, to learn how to move in flow with your unique body

🔥 It helps you break through fear and doubt in certain poses, so you feel stronger and more confident.

When you combine private sessions with group classes, you get the best of both worlds—community and individualised growth.

✨ You’ll learn the correct alignment for your body, so you can approach group classes with confidence.

✨ You’ll identify your specific strengths and areas for improvement, creating a clear focus for your practice.

✨ You’ll feel more connected to your body and breath, making group flows more impactful.

My client Esther combines private yoga with group classes for over 3 years now - and the results are incredible. She went from “making all the shapes” to actually feeling which muscles she was using in all the poses.

This helped her to get rid of her hamstring injury & actually enjoy the group classes even more. She now understands what she is doing in each pose & how different variations support her unique body in the best way.

If you want to deepen your yoga practice and unlock your full potential, private yoga is the missing piece.

✨ You’ll build strength, flexibility, and confidence tailored to your needs.

✨ You’ll get the tools to elevate your group practice and make every class more impactful.

I’m opening 2 new spots for private yoga classes in 2026 - if one of them is yours, dm me “Yoga” & I will send you all the info you need.

One of my teachers told me years ago: "You get the clients that fit you".

One of my previous business coaches told me: "so what you're telling me, is that your dream client is you from 2 years ago".

& that's exactly it. We connect with people who share similar values - and in my case sometimes have certain "quirks" that I recognise myself as well.

So without further ado, here are the 5 quirks I notice that most of my clients & I have in common:

1. we love spaces that are clutter-free - the less visual clutter, the better.

2. we like food, what am I saying, we LOVE food. We joke about it during my retreats: "we eat, we do some yoga, then... we eat again, maybe some yoga, and o, more food!"

3. we have a certain taste for luxury - our spaces need to be clean, stuff needs to feel sturdy, we love a heated floor and mat, we like to be comfortable.

4. We're curious: we love to learn new things and discover new "how to's" or "how it works"

5. We're high achieving perfectionists: we want to do it all and want to do it perfectly (and we know that's why we're on the mat together - to let go of everything that "needs" to be perfect all the time).

Do you recognise yourself in this list? Then we're probably meant to work together! See you soon on the mat!

(curious where we can meet on the mat? Send me a DM and we will talk about the options).

Curious about how different yoga poses really work for your body? I've got your back!

In the Back to Basics workshop series, we dive deeper into the most common poses in a yoga class — so you know exactly what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how to do it your way.

We explore questions like:

✨ What effect does a pose actually have on your body — in terms of muscles, flexibility, and anatomy?

✨ How do you adapt a pose to your unique build, strength, and range of motion, so you get the most benefit from it?

✨ And how can you deepen a pose without forcing your body or risking injury?

Because we work in a small group and I can personally observe you, there's plenty of time and attention to explore the poses step by step — physically, anatomically, and emotionally.

After this workshop, you'll return to the mat with a fresh perspective: with more knowledge, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what your body truly needs.

Cost: €35

Almost everyday I drive towards my own studio (yeah, still can’t believe I’m saying that). A place that feels like a second home - warm, inviting, and filled with plants.

Afterwards I go home, spend time with my husband who supports me in building this business & community and cuddle with my little 6 month old daughter, who is learning new things almost every single day.

I’m blessed to work with dream clients that challenge me to grow as a teacher, to have friends that I can share the good times & bad times with, that I get to plan my days according to my own energy levels.

And still…. I often get sucked into the “busyness” that is everyday life. So while I’m telling my clients to pause, to take that moment on the mat as an invitation for self-care, to “not having to do anything” during that 1 hour practice … I have to actively create these moments for myself.

Being a self-employed entrepreneur, means there is always something to do. If I want, I could work 24/7 - something that I vouched not to do, which is why I became an entrepreneur in the first place (instead of taking a 9-5).

This is why I started to "plan" my work hours and relaxation hours. No more trying to finish that social media post or send that email at 10 in the evening. I now have dedicated time slots during the week where I take care of stuff like this.

One way I did this? Moving practically all my work out of my home and into the studio.

This means, that on Saturday afternoon, although I'm done teaching my classes, I will spend the afternoon behind my laptop creating new social media posts, send out emails and prepare workshops & retreats.

It's that dedicated time where I am in full work mode and get things done.

And then at 5 o' clock (yes, I do see the irony here ;)), I close my laptop, get into my car and drive home.

And when I'm home, I can be fully present again. To play with and feed my daughter, to have game nights with my husband, or to relax while taking a bath.

It's this separation - where I dedicate a space to work and a space to relaxation that made all the difference for me (and yes, I didn't think I would say this a couple years ago, because I used to love working from home).

How do you keep your work and relaxation time separate?

Let me know in the comments!

With love,

Aurora

You’ve tried massages. You’ve taken pain relievers. You’ve invested time and money in physiotherapy. Yet, here you are—still feeling stuck, limited by discomfort and the kind of fatigue that keeps you from living your best life. Frustrating, isn’t it?

Here’s the truth: while these methods provide temporary relief, they often miss the root cause of your problem. And until you address that core issue, you’re trapped in a cycle of quick fixes and recurring pain.

So, what’s the missing piece?

1️⃣ Chronic inflammation and underlying stress

Your body might be in a state of constant inflammation. This isn’t something a massage can fix—it’s a systemic issue often fueled by stress, poor sleep, or even dietary choices. Without addressing these triggers, any treatment will only scratch the surface.

2️⃣ Unresolved movement patterns

Sometimes, it’s not just about where you feel pain but how your body is moving. Poor posture, muscle imbalances, or repetitive strain can create a domino effect, causing discomfort in places you wouldn’t expect. Physiotherapy is great, but are you targeting the right patterns?

3️⃣ Energy deficiency on a cellular level

Fatigue might not just be a lack of sleep—it could signal deeper issues, like hormonal imbalances. These require a deeper dive into your health through lifestyle adjustments or even medical insights, not just surface-level fixes.

Instead of chasing symptoms, it’s time to address the root causes. This means tuning into your body, exploring what’s really going on beneath the surface, and adopting a proactive, holistic strategy.

The good news? With the right tools and support, you can reclaim your energy, reduce discomfort, and break free from this cycle for good.

Your body is resilient—it just needs the right approach to thrive again. 💪

Let’s shift from temporary relief to true transformation. Are you ready to take the first step? 👇

Drop a comment or DM if this resonates, and let’s talk about solutions tailored for YOU.

If you know me for a longer period of time, you know I have my quirks around folding blankets en aligning stuff.

When I created my own studio space at the beginning of this year, I created a space that was intentionally designed to feel spacious, calm and warm.

This is why our cupboards are not full - but the coffee mugs are evenly spaced out.

It's why we fold our blankets a certain way.

Why I put all the "labels" of the pillows and bolsters to the front.

Why the heated mats get rolled up in a certain way.

It's why the studio gets vacuumed and mopped after all our classes (yes, every single day).

It's not because I'm being difficult - it's because of the calm that it invites into the room, that you feel the moment you step in.

Visual clutter can be a big distraction, especially when you step into a space where you want to relax. Lying down on a floor that is cold or dirty, doesn't add to your relaxation.

So if you feel overwhelmed whenever you step a foot inside of your house - observe what you can change in order to invite the calm. And no, I'm not talking about vacuuming and mopping your home twice a day, or having to get rid of all the clutter at once.

Making babysteps in this regard can go a long way - so maybe, next time you have 10 minutes to spare, open up that cupboard and take out any glasses or mugs you haven't used for 6 months. It might be a sign to let them go, and invite more space into home!

And if you feel a bit overwhelmed by this, and you're in need to invite some extra calm, you're always free to have a look in one of our cupboards in the studio after class ;)

I’m happy to help ♥️

The tension in your shoulders doesn’t have to be “normal” (because spoiler alert, it isn’t).

It’s not about big stretches and strong workouts.

It’s about connecting to what your nervous system needs: feeling safe.

If you’re ready to explore how to soften (while still creating a physically strong body), send me a DM 🔥

My 5 intensions for 2026 👇🏻

1️⃣ Continuing to build a strong community of people who inspire each other (on & off the mat) ♥️

2️⃣ Working less from home: dedicating my studio as the place to do my work, so I can truly “switch off” when I get home.

3️⃣ Continuing with my daily habits, which add structure to my day (which works so well for me)

4️⃣ Having more date nights with the hubby ♥️

5️⃣ Continuing to grow the from a place of freedom & creativity 😍

Have you ever walked into a cluttered room and immediately felt a little tense?

That’s not just your imagination—your environment directly affects your nervous system.🔥

Visual clutter can trigger your body’s stress response, even if you’re not consciously aware of it. Your brain sees too much “unfinished information” and interprets it as something that needs attention, which can make it harder to focus, relax, or feel calm.

That’s why my new studio has been designed with clarity in mind.❤️

Every mat is evenly spaced, every prop has its place, every line of light and colour has been chosen to support calm, focus, and presence.

(yep, I'm a bit weird that way 🙃, but..... 👇️)

Minimal visual input = maximum nervous system reset.

As I’ve been preparing the space for opening in January, I’ve realised just how much a tidy, intentional environment can nurture both body and mind.

You are so welcome to experience this sense of calm for yourself at the studio really soon!

Is there something you can change in your environment right now, to provoke some extra calm? (& yes, that includes that empty cup that is staring at you from across the room).

See you soon!

As I’ve been preparing our new studio for its opening in January, I’ve gained an even deeper appreciation for my “tidy & organised” quirk (hello "tandjes op tandjes" or "fliebels op fliebels" and putting the blocks in perfect straight lines).

From spacing mats evenly to arranging props in labelled baskets, every detail is intentional.

It’s not about perfection—it’s about creating a space that signals calm to the nervous system from the moment you step inside.

I’ve realised that my love for order isn’t just a personality trait—it’s a tool for regulating the nervous system.

When things are visually clear and thoughtfully arranged:
🌟your eyes and brain can rest instead of scanning chaos,
🌟your body can relax instead of tensing,
🌟your mind can focus instead of feeling overwhelmed.

Every shelf, every cushion, every soft line of light is placed to support calm, clarity, and presence—so that the moment you walk in, your body and mind already start to settle.

Preparing this space has reminded me how much a tidy, intentional environment can nurture both body and mind.

And honestly? I’ve loved every second of it. ❤️

Do you feel calmer in tidy spaces too?

December is a beautiful month… but for many high achievers, it can also feel uncomfortably loud.

Not just socially or emotionally — but visually.

If you find yourself getting more easily overwhelmed during the holidays, here’s why 👇️

High achievers struggle with visual clutter more than most.

Your brain is wired to scan, organise, and complete things.

So when there’s:
🤯piles of gifts,
🤯 holiday decorations everywhere,
🤯 kitchen counters full of “to make” lists,
🤯 year-end admin lingering in the corner…

…your nervous system sees “unfinished things” everywhere.

And each one quietly adds to your mental load.

This isn’t about being picky.

It’s not about perfectionism.

It’s simply how a high-achieving brain processes sensory input:

👉️More visual information = more things to track
👉️More things to track = cognitive fatigue
👉️Cognitive fatigue = stress response

That heightened tension you feel?

It’s your nervous system saying, “This is too much.”

It’s one of the reasons I design both my own home and my yoga studio with minimal visual input.

Clean lines. Clear spaces. Intentional organisation.

Not for the aesthetics — but to support calm, clarity, and focus.

So if this season feels overwhelming, please know: nothing is wrong with you.

Your brain just functions better with less sensory load.

What is one small corner of your home (or your mind) you could gently declutter this week to create a sense of spaciousness again?

Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to stick to your self-care habits when your space feels calm and organised?

That’s not a coincidence — it’s a nervous system thing.

The space you practise in can make or break your consistency.

When your environment is tidy, visually quiet, and intentionally arranged, your brain receives fewer “distractions” to process.

👉️Less sensory input = more mental space.
👉️More mental space = easier choices.

And easier choices are the foundation of lasting habits.
This is exactly why I design both my home and my studio with clarity and simplicity in mind.

Every basket, every prop, every soft corner of light has a purpose:
to help your body relax, your mind settle, and your motivation feel natural rather than forced.

It ties directly into my 3-pillar method:

✨ Knowledge — understanding how your nervous system reacts to your environment.

✨ Movement — feeling the difference when you practise in a space that supports focus and ease.

✨ Daily Habits — making self-care so simple and inviting that your brain stops resisting it.

Because when your space feels calm, you feel calm.

And when you feel calm, self-care stops being another task on the list — it becomes something you actually crave.

Ps. curious to see how I bring this to life in the new studio? Keep an eye out on my stories, because I will take you with me through the process towards opening the new studio space in January!
