🌙 NEW AT YOGA VIDYA: COMMUNITY SLEEP (every Saturday)
Because we see an increasing need for connection, rest and a sense of safety… we are introducing a new offering at the studio: Community Sleep.
Sleeping together with others in one space actually comes with some surprising benefits:
✨ increased sense of safety
✨ reduced stress and loneliness
✨ release of the ‘cuddle hormone’ oxytocin
✨ and… extra warmth during colder nights
We begin the evening with a gentle wind-down session and wake up with soft morning yoga… right from your bed 🧘♀️
Think: stretching, breathing, waking up slowly.
🛏️ What to bring:
– a sleeping mat (if a yoga mat feels too minimal)
– optional: your own pillow or extra blanket for comfort
– an open mind 🤍
(We do have basic mats, cushions and blankets available in the studio.)
⚠️ Contraindications:
– heavy snoring (unless the group experiences it as white noise)
– excessive sleep talking
– strong morning moods before tea 🫖
We’ll create a safe, warm space where you can simply… be.
💛 Maybe sleeping together is the new way of being together.
