NEW - CAT B EBS Rebreather Training Norway {English version below}
Vanaf 1 april 2026 is het verplicht: helikopterpassagiers die naar het Noorse continentaal plat (NCS) reizen, moeten een CAT B (EBS)-training hebben voltooid.
Deze aanvullende training bouwt voort op de bestaande HUET-training en richt zich op het veilig en effectief gebruik van een Emergency Breathing System (rebreather) tijdens noodsituaties op zee. De training duurt circa 2 uur en bestaat uit theorie en praktijk.
Met deze korte add-on voldoe je aan de Noorse regelgeving en ben je goed voorbereid op offshore vluchten.

Starting April 1, 2026, it will be mandatory: helicopter passengers traveling to the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) must have completed CAT B (EBS) training.
This additional training builds on existing HUET training and focuses on the safe and effective use of an Emergency Breathing System (rebreather) during offshore helicopter emergencies. The training takes approximately 2 hours and includes both theory and practical exercises.
With this short add-on training, you comply with Norwegian regulations and are better prepared for offshore travel.
