Finished my e-book 😱
At the age of 17 I had my first panic attack, in Scotland (there can be worse places right ;)). On holiday with my mother and brother, whilst enjoying a tranquil night in our holiday home, I thought I was having a heart attack.......spoilert alert: I wasn't.
This was the first of many panic attacks and days full of anxiety in the years following.
By the age of 21, with the help of therapy and medication, anxiety was a thing of the past, or so I thought.
The next decade I travelled the world, worked on cruise ships, lived in Rome and went on many solo-adventures.
And then.....my friend Anxiety came back around, and this time he was here to stay, or so I thought.
Fast forward to last summer when I decided "enough is enough" and I took the plunge.
Went on my first solo-trip in years!
Spoiler alert: I had the best time!
I'm back to my authentic self, and the world is my oyster again.
This transformation didn't come easy: Lots of therapy, both conventional as alternative, lost friendships (as I cancelled on plans a lot), and tried a lot of activities that are supposed to be relaxing (say hello to my 27 1k-piece puzzles 🤣).
But the biggest life-changing event was diving into my roots. Going to the place where my father's family is from has given me a deeper sense of belonging, finding my grandmother's home and grave has made that part of my family and story literally tangible.
As I learned so much during all those years on the topic anxiety, I decided to write an e-book with all the important information. To help others struggling with anxiety and those around them.
If you want to learn more about anxiety, get your free copy here: https://bit.ly/3Og3Ns6
(I am working on expanding my website with journals📝, planners, coloring books🌈 and courses. I will keep you informed via email if you grab the book.)
Also want to take use this post to thank the following people for their patience and help:
