On April 1st, we celebrate the 2-year anniversary of Essential Chiropractic, and it’s had me reflecting on where this all really began.
Recently, I had a conversation with another chiropractor about the future of the profession. He shared that he saw it becoming more medicalised — more like standard physical therapy.
And I remember thinking… that’s not it.
Don’t get me wrong — chiropractic is great for back pain and many of the common issues people come in with. I help people with that every day. But if that’s all we believe chiropractic can do, then I think we’re missing the point.
What if what we’re really doing is reconnecting the physical body with the immaterial — helping people align not just structurally, but neurologically and energetically? If that’s the case, then chiropractic is more essential than ever.
That’s exactly why the clinic is called Essential Chiropractic.
We’re living in an increasingly disconnected world — disconnected from our bodies, our health, and often from each other. Stress is constant, attention is fragmented, and many people feel both wired and exhausted at the same time.
Chiropractors work with the nervous system — the system that coordinates every function in the body. When that system functions more clearly, people don’t just feel less pain. They move differently, adapt better, and often feel more like themselves again.
Because this isn’t just about fixing something when it hurts. It’s about helping you function better.
Chiropractic is not just about fixing parts.
It’s about restoring connection.
Two years in, that belief hasn’t changed — if anything, it’s only grown stronger.
I just want to say thank you. Whether you’ve been coming in regularly or you’ve only visited once, you’ve been part of this journey, and I really appreciate it.
