In recent months, I've noticed a delightful trend: former students are returning for private class trajectories. It's truly heartwarming to hear what has brought them back, with a willingness to invest in themselves.
They've shared positive memories of practicing yoga at Yogashala from years past, and their ongoing interest in yoga and us led them to follow our occasional social media updates. My heart is filled with gratitude for their curiosity in exploring the benefits of one-on-one yoga, which provides ample space for a personalized teaching approach and the practical application of postures and breathing exercises tailored to their current state and fundamental needs. I'm more than ready, capable, and excited to share my gifts, knowledge, experience, and love while acknowledging and accepting them for who they truly are, with all their limitations and possibilities.
My primary intention is to connect with each and every person so that we can transform negative feelings of separateness, loneliness, abandonment, and not belonging into moments of connectedness and togetherness, even if just for a moment.
Women tend to connect easily and often find solace in experiencing my yoga teachings within a warm atmosphere of connection, words, and intentions. Men may initially be more reserved and hesitant, but I remain persistent and warm-hearted in my approach. I am pleased to report that my consistency and determination have borne fruit, with half of my private clients being men.
