International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) invites nominations for its new Taskforce on the Business Case for Pharmacy Services!

As pharmacy roles expand and health systems face increasing pressures, sustainable financing and strong evidence-based policy are essential.

This taskforce will contribute to a White Paper for Council review in Montreal in 2026. Based on this work, a proposed FIP policy statement on the financing of pharmacy services will be developed for Council consideration at the FIP Congress in Kuala Lumpur in 2027, followed by further tools to support advocacy, implementation, national policy dialogue and impact monitoring through 2030.

We welcome nominees with expertise in pharmacy service financing, health economics, workforce development or policy. Please submit names, contact details, and a brief summary of relevant experiences/CV to jonathan.penm@sydney.edu.au by 11 January 2026.

What a night to remember! The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) HPS Section Dinner at Restaurant Madklubben was filled with laughter, lively conversation, and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces while welcoming new ones into the fold.

From heartfelt reunions to fresh introductions, the evening was a celebration of community, collaboration, and shared passion within hospital pharmacy.
