What if those thoughts you have before your first class don’t turn out to be true?

What if you find a place that feels familiar, sooner than expected.

A room where your mat is always there.

Where you notice how you move, how you’re feeling, and when something shifts.

Nothing loud. Nothing forced. Just a steady place to come back to.

What if?

Thank you, Carol, for the reminder.

Sometimes you come in unsure. Unsure of the heat, the effort, or where you’ll find your place.

But you stay with your breath.
You listen. You move.

And over time, that’s enough.

The practice meets you there — steady, simple, and always here when you return.

Some places become part of your routine without you really noticing when it happened.

You come for the structure.
For the movement.
For a clear head at the start or end of your day.

And then, over time, you settle in.

You recognize the room. The rhythm. The sequence.
A familiar voice guiding you.

Faces you’ve seen before — maybe a nod, a quiet smile, a shared moment after class.

It’s simple, consistent, and easy to return to.
And before you know it, you’re part of it — and it’s part of you.

What actually happens in a Bikram class at MyYoga?

The teacher stands at the back of the room and guides you through dialogue.
No demonstrations at the front. No need to look around.

You’ll hear what to do, how to do it, and when to begin.
You follow along, one posture at a time, together with the room.

It’s simple, and it’s precise.
The same sequence. The same structure. Space to meet yourself in it.

We think that if you have to think too much, we haven’t done our job.

Step into the room, listen, and practice. Leave your thinking brain with your shoes at the door.

Teacher Training — March 2027

Maybe it’s been on your mind for a while.

A quiet curiosity.
A feeling that you want to understand more.

Teacher training doesn't turn you into someone else. This time gives you space and a practice to lean into that curiousity and immerse yourself in the calling that you're feeling.

Learning the sequence in a more integrative way.
Finding your voice to lead and hold space.
Standing in the room sharing your love with others that one day may do the same.

You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to be willing to begin.
This is your invitation to take a closer look.

Our next teacher training begins in March of 2027 and registration is open. Learn more by visiting the link in our bio.

MyYoga talks — Side Plank

A posture that builds strength quietly, from the inside out.

In Side Plank, we work into the sides of the body — the muscles that support your balance, your spine, and the way you carry yourself through the day. It asks for stability, but also for attention.

Follow along as Lydia shares a few key things to be mindful of the next time you’re in class with us.

Okay… the photo is for attention. We know.

We're wrapping up a week of a few small things we've done to give back to this planet we call home. And this last way might seem really unconventional.

Towels get left behind more often than you’d think. Most are never claimed, so every few months we collect and wash them, then pass them on to the Dierenambulance here in Den Haag.

They’re used to wrap injured animals, keep them warm, and create a bit of calm in moments that need it.

A small second life, quietly continuing beyond the room.

Just another way we try to take care of our planet and all of the beings that call it home.

Right outside our front door, you may have noticed something a little different in the sidewalk. A narrow strip of flowers and plants, growing gently along the building.

This is a geveltuin — a simple idea you see across many Dutch cities. It's another way we show our appreciation and gratitude for the Earth.

A small strip of soil with plants adds in a touch of nature just outside the studio. While it's small, it's enough to change the feeling of a street.

Less concrete. A bit more life.

And even in its simplicity, it gives something back.

A place for bees and butterflies to land.
A softer, greener street to walk through.
A way for rainwater to return to the ground.
A small moment of coolness on warmer days.

Our geveltuin is a small gesture, but it’s part of a bigger way of thinking. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We try to be thoughtful and mindful in the details. Even something as simple as toilet paper.

Another way we support our planet is by using products from — a Dutch company working to make bathrooms a little more responsible.

Their paper is made from recycled materials or bamboo, so no trees need to be cut down. The packaging stays plastic-free, using recyclable paper instead. And part of what you use here contributes to something beyond the studio. These products help fund access to safe sanitation in communities where it’s still not a given.

It may just be toilet paper. But it’s also part of how we take care of our space, of each other, and of the world just outside our door.
