Unconsciously we tend to hold on to tension in the body which causes all sorts of unexplained ailments, such as knee pain, headaches, inflammations, phobias, exhaustion, lethargy, anger, mood swings, anxiety, depression, and so on.... Most of the time we choose to ignore the gentle whispers and call for attention and go on with our (hectic) lifestyle, not aware of the tension accumulating in the body until it starts calling out in the form of ailments.
If you can relate to this it's time to sit with yourself and allow the body to guide you to that what is needed to restore and rebalance your energy, healing you of ailments and bringing you back to who you really are so you can enjoy life to it's fullness and do the things which bring fulfilment into your life!
With yoga therapy I encourage you to improve your health and well-being by applying yoga techniques such as asanas, pranayama, mudras, mantra, ayurveda etc. Yoga therapy uses the holistic approach which results in healthy body and mind so you can experience the bliss.
Tension/trauma release:
Through healing breathwork and trauma therapy we use conscious and intentional breathing to releases trauma and/or tension stored in the body. Intentional breathwork helps with trauma and/or tension processing and healing, by bypassing the conscious mind, deactivating the sympathetic nervous system, ultimately having a restorative effect and can heal unexplained ailments in the body and improve mental health.
The body knows exactly where the tension resides and how to release it if you allow it to take over.
