Pharmacist Career Diaries
Beyond the Dispensary: Exploring the Expanding Horizons of the Pharmacy Profession

Join us for the Pharmacist Career Diaries Week Webinar, hosted as part of the IPSF PPAC global advocacy campaign.

This webinar aims to showcase the diverse and evolving career pathways available to pharmacists beyond traditional community and hospital roles. Through a moderated panel discussion, speakers will share how pharmacy skills can be applied across areas such as medical affairs, health economics, entrepreneurship, global health, sustainability, industry, and leadership.

Hear from our inspiring speakers:

Rafa Al Khalifa — a pharmacy and healthcare consultant working across speciality pharmacy, health economics, global health, healthcare management, and sustainable healthcare innovation.

Rania Aisha Nuralisa — a Medical Affairs professional and Medical Scientific Liaison with expertise in scientific communication, market access, quality, and cardio-kidney-metabolic care.

Yuri Jung — an entrepreneur, registered pharmacist, Founder & CEO of AELIQ Corp., and Director of International Affairs at the Korean Industry Pharmacists Association.

This session is an opportunity for pharmacy students and early-career pharmacists to gain insight into non-traditional career routes, challenge misconceptions about the pharmacist’s role, and feel inspired to explore the wider potential of a pharmacy degree.

You have a humanitarian project or activitiy in mind that the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) could conduct or support?

Every IPSF member can submit Humanitarian Project Proposals. A proposal can also be submitted on behalf of an affected Member Organisation (MO), and should be reviewed and approved by the affected MO whenever possible.

Proposals will be evaluated and approval by the IPSF Executive Committee is needed. A decision will be made within one month of receiving the proposal.
If approved, the International Humanitarian Commission (IHC), the acting humanitarian body of IPSF to conduct humanitarian missions, will start its work. This will be in close contact with the proposer, or direct collaboration and support, depending on the mission.

You can also always spontaneously submit a Humanitarian Project Proposal to the IPSF Executive Committee. As the form will stay open until the end of the 2025-26 IPSF mandate, meaning until 30th of September 2026, feel free to use this form to submit your proposal though.

In case of any questions or comments do not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Elisabeth Jones (humanitarian@ipsf.org), Ms. Eleanor Fonji (publichealth@ipsf.org) or Ms. Dorian Joghataie (president-elect@ipsf.org).
