IPSF is thrilled to announce our delegation to the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2025 which will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 14-23 July 2025!

The HLPF will conduct in-depth review of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly on SDG 3 (Health and Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). IPSF is actively involved in review and advocacy activities around SDG 3 and its interlinkages with other SDGs.

With the HLPF 2025’s theme “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind”, IPSF delegates will represent pharmacy students’ voice from around the world to further advocate SDGs implementation by 2030 and meaningful youth engagement within the UN processes.

The International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF) was established in 1949 on the initiative of 8 countries. It is currently the oldest faculty-based student organisation. IPSF now represents over 350,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in more than 80 countries worldwide.

IPSF is the leading international advocacy organization for the future generation of pharmacists. IPSF promotes improved public health through the provision of information, education, networking and a range of publications and professional activities. IPSF also runs several projects during the year mainly on Pharmacy Education, Professional Development and on Student Exchange.

IPSF aims to equip members for professional life in local and international settings, increase member involvement in global health and strengthen interprofessional commitment to healthcare.
