✨About Keenan Zach✨
Keenan Zach is an artistic researcher and musician native to New York, USA, whose current interests include the relationship between sound and meaning.
Before moving to The Hague in August 2025, Keenan completed a Doctorate of Musical Arts at Stony Brook University and was an active freelance performer on the contrabass in jazz, classical, electro-acoustic, and baroque music.
In the last few years, Keenan’s passionate connection to music has led him to explore sound and music in a holistic way, seeking to connect with sound in ways that stimulate the natural healing capabilities of the body. To facilitate this investigation, Keenan has studied with experienced sound healers and continues to deepen his own relationship with the interaction of energy and matter. Fundamental to Keenan’s approach to sound healing is the philosophical and spiritual idea that the intentional use of sound can create a portal through which relaxation and healing can permeate the present, past, and future.
