When having a complaint that you take into the practice space it is natural to look for that big shift of that complaint.
However what mostly happens when working with the body and its nervous system is that these shifts might show up in a different way than you expected.
You know that something is shifting when:
🍀 you are able to sense more than before
(for example sensing that you have cold feet or sensing that you are hungry/ you stop eatingwhen full)
🍀you are able to follow those cues of your body
(putting on some extra socks/ eating something)
🍀things that you were scared of before don't set you off as much anymore
(phobias of mice or spiders for example)
🍀you are able to set small boundaries
(getting asked to meet up with a friend but when the day comes you feel like you need some time for yourself)
These are just a few but there are many more things that might shift gradually.
So before you might see a shift in your symptoms/complaint there might be all those other shifts to look out for.
