I don't have a special routine. I wake up, feed my little one and then go about my day.
I still see too many advertising and selling short term relief as nervous system regulation.
What happens and many end up doing is an endless list of things to start their day to get the slightest sense of calm.
Calm doesn't equal real regulation and capacity.
Capacity and regulation happens when you get proper education and learn about your body's stress physiology. Then you build a relationship with your body and move towards the activation, towards the unknown and towards the uncomfortable in small ways.
That will shift how you see yourself and the world around you. That will shift how you perceive everything you encounter.
So you can live life, go about your day and don't have to worry about a specific routine because you move through life with ease.
