Are you a student in global health, international medicine, or a related field? Then we are looking for you!

We've joined forces with KIT Royal Tropical Institute, to get 30 students to join the Power of Knowledge event on September 1st. Tickets are available for students who would like to write about the event. We want to hear your thoughts on how we build and sustain equitable partnerships in global health. In addition, selected participants will be given the opportunity to follow a writing workshop by Stephan van Duin (journalist, science communication expert, and co-founder of The Online Scientist). You don't want to miss out on this!

Zorg voor Klimaat lanceert gloednieuw kennis- én netwerkplatform

Alle duurzame zorgverleners en initiatieven verzameld: verduurzamen in de zorg was nog nooit zo gemakkelijk

Zorg voor Klimaat lanceerde recent hun nieuwe kennis- en netwerkplatform. Dit platform faciliteert in het eenvoudig uitwisselen van kennis en ervaring m.b.t. duurzame initiatieven in de gezondheidszorg om zo een snelle transitie te realiseren naar een duurzaam zorgsysteem.

Ideeën opdoen en ervaringen vernemen?
Wil je in contact komen met andere zorgprofessionals die een duurzame missie zijn gestart?
👉🏽 Op het netwerkplatform zijn inmiddels vele ‘changemakers’ (o.a. individuen, werkgroepen, commissies, green teams) te vinden. Hier kun je gemakkelijk met deze aanjagers van duurzaamheid in de gezondheidszorg in contact komen.
👉🏽 Op het kennisplatform kun je terecht voor concrete projecten, initiatieven en kennis die al wordt toegepast. Leer van wat anderen al hebben bereikt! Je bent meer dan welkom om ideeën op te doen om daarmee zelf ook duurzame veranderingen waar te gaan maken.

Het is belangrijker dan ooit om met elkaar grote stappen te maken! Ben je al aan de slag met duurzaamheid in de gezondheidszorg en wil je jouw ervaringen ook graag delen? Super! 💪🏽 Meld je zelf dan aan als ‘changemaker’ om vervolgens al jouw/jullie eigen projecten en initiatieven te kunnen vermelden en vindbaar te maken voor anderen.

[EN follows Dutch] - Morgen is alweer de laatste avond van het . We kijken terug op drie inspirerende avonden met toffe sprekers voor de aftertalks. In alle avonden is er een rol geweest voor activisme - tegen femicide, mileuvervuiling, en racisme. We gaan aankomende zaterdag de film van Franz Böhm bekijken, Dear Future Children, waarin hij de verhalen vertelt van jonge activisten die zich keihard inzetten voor een betere toekomst.

Tomorrow we'll be hosting the final screening of the . We look back on three inspiring evenings with great aftertalk panelists. During every screening, we've seen the topic of activism arise - activists protesting femicide, pollution, and racism. This Saturday we'll be seeing a film by Franz Böhm, Dear Future Children, telling the story of young activists who are fighting for a brighter future.

The director of Dear Future Children will be one of the featured panelists this Saturday!

Franz Böhm is a filmmaker originally from Stuttgart, Germany. Dear Future Children is his debut feature film which was awarded with the audience award at its world premiere at the 42nd Max-Ophüls-Preis Film Festival. Its international premieres were held at CPH:DOX and Hot Docs International Film Festival. At Hot Docs, it won the audience award, making him the youngest filmmaker ever to receive this award, and qualifies the film for the Academy Awards shortlist.

He is currently completing his MA in Directing Fiction at the National Film And Television School.

Meet our first panelist for Green Warriors / Cost of Cobalt! 🌱🪨

Jeffrie is a physician and public health specialist, specialized in environmental health. Jeffrie is currently mapping the effects of pollution using environmental toxicology, biomonitoring exposed individuals.
He has recently conducted fieldwork for his research on the health effects of laborers working in the cobalt mines of DR Congo. Currently, Jeffrie is in Iraq, where he studies the link between the rise of birth defects and the increased heavy metal pollution in the country since the war in 2003.
