The EFOMP President Efi Koutsouveli update on the executive committee meeting 👇

Just days before the close of 2025, I had the honour of hosting in Athens, Greece the current and incoming executive committee of the European Federation Of Organizations For Medical Physics - EFOMP.
We discussed the top priorities for the final year of my presidency ( ➡️ 2026), as well as our ongoing projects, long-term goals, cross-specialty and cross-border collaborations.
Entering the new year refreshed and full of positive energy, we move forward step by step toward our goals - goals that will continue to shape and strengthen the community for the benefit of people and the planet. Together 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 .
A big 🙏 to the EFOMP Immediate Past Presidents Marco Brambilla and Paddy Gilligan for their continued support, advice, and friendship and a warm welcome to the elected Vice President Dimos Baltas.

It was my pleasure to represent European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics - EFOMP at the Briefing Session during the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) International Conference on Radiation Protection in Medicine: X Ray Vision this week. Thanks to IAEA for inviting EFOMP to take part and to our sister societies and organisations for their collaboration on this important topic. Well done to Ola Holmberg and his team for the excellent programme and to Mary Coffey Conference President. I look forward to Bonn+.
