Met trots presenteren wij de derde spreker van de Avicenna Health Hack 2023: Evelien van Leeuwen!

Evelien van Leeuwen is sinds 2022 management consultant bij Bisnez. Met haar enthousiaste en energieke persoonlijkheid kan ze anderen in beweging krijgen. Evelien heeft een achtergrond in Bestuurs- en Organisatiewetenschappen en heeft affiniteit met maatschappelijk relevante vraagstukken in de publieke sector. Haar werk als consultant kent een sterke wetenschappelijke basis: in september 2022 verdedigde zij haar proefschrift aan UMC Utrecht. Haar promotie-onderzoek richtte zich op de duurzame inzetbaarheid en loopbanen van zorgprofessionals. Ze is resultaatgericht en heeft een duidelijk doel voor ogen. In haar werk past ze dit toe zonder het menselijke aspect uit het oog te verliezen.

Met trots presenteren wij tweede spreker van de Avicenna Health Hack 2023: Michel van Genderen!

Michel is tijdens zijn studie geneeskunde gepromoveerd op de rol van de perifere circulatie bij kritisch zieke patiënten. Aansluitend is hij opgeleid tot internist in het Franciscus Gasthuis en Erasmus MC waarna hij verder is gespecialiseerd in de Intensive Care geneeskunde. Sinds 2021 is Michel werkzaam als staflid op de Intensive Care van het Erasmus MC. Zijn aandachtsgebied gaat uit naar het toepassen van advanced analytics (artificial Intelligence en machine learning) en overige innovatieve technieken (zoals virtual reality) om de zorg te verbeteren. Samen met zijn collega’s streeft hij ernaar om de beste zorg te leveren voor deze kwetsbare patiënten tijdens, maar ook na, hun IC opname.

Dit jaar zal de 6e editie plaatsvinden met als thema houdbaarheid van het zorgsysteem. Benieuwd naar samenwerken met studenten en young professionals vanuit verschillende disciplines binnen de zorg? Interesse in connecten met bedrijven actief binnen de wereld van gezondheidszorg, zorgconsultancy en technische innovaties?

Op 29 april zal de Hackaton plaatsvinden op de locatie van Yes!Delft. De dag zal gevuld zijn met interessante sprekers, verscheidene workshops, een lunch op locatie, veel tijd voor groepswerk en afsluitend pitches en een netwerkborrel!

Elke groep zal aan de slag gaan met een casus uit de praktijk en begeleid door een coach toewerken naar een oplossing! Geeft jouw groep een van de winnende pitches? Er zijn mooie prijzen te winnen!

Met trots presenteren wij de eerste spreker van de Avicenna Health Hack 2023: Diederik Gommers!

Prof. dr. Diederik Gommers is het welbekende afdelingshoofd van de Intensive care in Rotterdam.Tijdens de Coronacrisis in Nederland nam Gommers als specialist deel aan het uitbraak beheerteam dat het kabinet adviseerde over volksgezondheid maatregelen om de verspreiding van het virus COVID-19 tegen te gaan. In januari 2021 ontvingen Gommers en viroloog Marion Koopmans de Machiavelliprijs 2020 voor hun ‘niet aflatende inzet om wetenschap over het coronavirus toegankelijk te maken voor een breed publiek’.

De 6e editie van de Avicenna Health Hack vindt plaats bij YES!Delft!

Bij YES!Delft krijgen startups de kans om hun product verder te ontwikkelen en hun bedrijf naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Het gebouw leent zich perfect voor evenementen zoals hackatons door de combinatie van de grote open Main Hall, het auditorium voor de pitches en verschillende incubator ruimtes voor de hack sessies.

Innovatie en het samenbrengen van ideeën is waar het om draait bij YES!Delft en dat sluit precies aan bij het speerpunt van de Avicenna Health Hack.

Save the date!

This year’s theme, resilience in healthcare, will focus on financial sustainability as well as wellbeing in the healthcare sector. The current health care system is facing various challenges including rising health care costs, increasing pressure on health care systems and shortages of healthcare providers. Due to these challenges, the current health care system must be adapted to be able to become future proof. But how can this be obtained, what should be done, by who and who is responsible? The complexity of these challenges call for transdisciplinary collaboration. Therefore, this broad theme, and the various cases and challenges it includes, requires you and your input as a participant, to hack these issues to arrive at appropriate and sustainable solutions.

Geef je dan nu nog op voor het Avicenna Health Hack bestuur van 2022-2023!

Wij zijn op zoek naar gemotiveerde studenten die geïnteresseerd zijn in de gezondheidszorg en innovatie binnen de zorgsector. Samen met andere bestuursleden ga je een hackathon organiseren, waarbij alle facetten van een evenement naar voren komen. Als bestuurslid heb je de kans om je CV te verbeteren en om ervaring op te doen in een multidisciplinaire groep. Ook als je op zoek bent naar een zinvolle inzet in een maatschappelijke organisatie en de gezondheidszorg van morgen wilt creëren, is een bestuursjaar van de Avicenna Health Hack iets voor jou!

Dit part-time bestuur kan worden gecombineerd met studie en biedt je de mogelijkheid om je communicatieve en organisatorische vaardigheden te ontwikkelen. Ook is het mogelijk je netwerk binnen de gezondheids- en innovatiesector te verbreden.
