Start of Winter is the 19th solar term in the traditional Chinese calendar, falling on November 7th. As the cold winter approaches, healthy individuals should focus on “nurturing and conserving” energy. This includes going to bed early, waking up later, and ensuring adequate sleep, which helps to preserve vital energy (yang qi) and store essential essence (yin essence) for the season. So, how can one practice good winter health care?
