Welcome to Back to the Body!
Back to the Body is my massage and Shiatsu practice in Utrecht.
My name is Lorenzo Pescatori, I have 20 years of experience as masseur and 10 years experience as Shiatsu therapist. I take a holistic, hands-on approach to helping my clients release tension, reduce stress and improve well-being.
Shiatsu is considered an Alternative Medicine treatment in The Netherlands, and reimbursable under many Dutch health insurance plans. I am accredited by most health insurances in The Netherlands, so you can claim back some of the cost (dependent upon your insurance package).

Come and visit me at a beautiful location in the center of Utrecht, in the yoga school Yoga Utrecht, in Oudegracht 243.
Massages and Shiatsu treatments are available by appointment on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 9.00 to 19.00.
If these times and dates don’t work for you, please contact me and we can try to arrange a time and date that works for both of us.

My name is Lorenzo Pescatori. I have been studying and practising different forms of massage since 2004. In 2011 I discovered Shiatsu, a finger pressure based manual therapy that comes from Japan, and I fell in love with it. After a few years of study, I became a professional Shiatsu therapist. Since then, Shiatsu has been the treatment I'm using the most.

In 2018 I moved to Nederland and I became a father. Now I am starting my practice here in Utrecht, dedicated to Shiatsu, massage and well-being: Back to the Body.

Shiatsu helps to release tensions while relaxing the body and the mind. At the same time, it helps you to reconnect with your body, and the body to regain its natural self-healing ability.

I speak English and basic Nederlands.
