Thai Dee always helps me learn new things. This weekend, I feel lucky to get to know Elly Wijnen—a gentle, humble, and very caring teacher with so much knowledge. I’m truly grateful.

I also want to say how proud I am of all my fellow students this weekend. I know studying the theory can feel heavy, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. Please know you’re doing really well.

This part of the journey is not always easy, but it’s very important for us as massage therapists. With a good basic understanding, we can not only help our clients relax, but also gently understand what is happening in their body while staying within our own knowledge and limits.

Learning anatomy the muscles, bones, and how the body moves takes time, and it’s okay to learn step by step. Be patient and be gentle with yourself.

Stay curious, keep going, and trust the process. With time, it will all come together, and you’ll be able to treat your clients with more confidence, care, and understanding. Keep up the great work.

Oh God…
what happened to our world?
It feels like the sky is heavier now.

Like the air carries sorrow in every breath.
So much anger echoing in every corner,
so much sadness woven into the news of each day.
There are too many tears.
Too many names spoken in past tense.
Too many mothers
learning how to survive
with a silence where their children used to laugh.

Life...
So fragile,
so sacred,
taken as if it were nothing,
as if tomorrow were guaranteed.
I feel the constant worry,
like a low hum beneath everything.
A quiet fear that never fully sleeps.
A grief that doesn’t always belong to me,
but still settles in my chest
as if it does.

When will the world calm down?
When will the shouting soften into listening?
When will we remember
that we belong to each other?
Is this the new normal—
this endless cycle of loss?
Or are we simply in the darkest hour
before we remember the light?

Because even now,
somewhere,
a stranger is helping another stand.
Somewhere,
a hand reaches across difference.
Somewhere,
love refuses to disappear.
Maybe the world is not only breaking.
Maybe it is aching to be healed.

And maybe,
even in this sorrow,
our tenderness
is proof
that humanity
is still alive.

It was again great course in .school.thaidee with a group of beautiful souls—very talented and experienced people. Everyone was amazing. Laura is truly a wonderful teacher. Not only did we learn many techniques on how to perform Thai massage in a flowing sequence, but she also encouraged us to bring our own essence into each technique. This allowed us to learn from one another and discover more possibilities, making every technique more powerful and more beneficial for the person receiving the treatment. Thank you everyone 😊🙏🫶.
