DYNAMIC SCOLIOSIS OPTIMISATION

At Functional Patterns we don’t just focus on static posture but rather, we help our clients change their structures through improving their movement in a three-dimensional context.

Mike had had a scoliosis for as long as he could remember accompanied by recurring lower back, hip, shoulder and neck pain.

His back pain got particularly bad after a training session involving some deadlifts that caused his already compressed spine to shift even more out of alignment.

Over the course of 15 sessions we have managed to reprogram his biomechanics so that he can unwind his scoliosis not just while standing but also in a dynamic context, allowing him to run and play sports pain-free once again.
