Soul name (light language): «Noni Akani»
These days, I am attending a course about Egyptian shamanism. As I study and integrate this ancient ancestral wisdom, I am beginning to understand that I may have been a shaman deeply connected to sacred art in another lifetime, long ago.
I already work with channeled information and rituals from another time, practices I seem to remember when I create my art. Sometimes I simply know things without having read or heard them anywhere. It can feel almost frightening, yet I choose to trust my inner voice and allow it to guide me deeper into my feminine power, with art as a sacred tool.
These elements arise naturally in my process, guiding both the expression and the intention behind the work.
The state of consciousness I enter while creating is essential. The relational dimension between the artwork and the creator; the dialogue, the listening, the presence, forms a vital part of the spiritual aspect of my practice together with my channeling. It is within this conscious exchange that the work becomes charged with a particular energy.
Step by step, through a long and devoted process, I am preparing myself for my first Sacred Art Ceremony.
Little by little, I receive information about important elements of the ceremony, like pieces of a puzzle that are slowly coming together, even though the whole still remains an enigma to me. Yet I know I am ready. I have been ready for a long time.
I am no longer afraid of the power that lives within me, the power that once revealed itself through the King Cobra as my power animal, encountered during a shamanic drum journey.
