In case of accident AID LOCK tattoo can contain all the health and identification information that you want. That information will be available for health care professionals only and the purpose to save your life. Essentially, our system is a tool for identification and communication between AID LOCK users and healthcare professionals who use AID KEY. It is also a great way to share your positive attitude towards organ donation with the world. How Does It Work? After registering with AID LOCK, you will receive a seven-digit code on either a tattoo design, a Lock Screen function on your phone, a bracelet or all three. By simply entering the code on the AID KEY app, (which only authorized healthcare professionals can use), your information will appear in seconds. TATTOO
Tattoos are an important part of our system for several reasons. Unlike cards and other identification tools, a tattoo won’t get lost, forgotten or easily destroyed. By getting the tattoo, you will show the world that you care, be a constant reminder for people to donate, and be a walking conversation piece to help spread the organ donation importance message. With this system, there will never be any doubt regarding your organ donor status. Your choice will be clearly displayed on your tattoo, and as an extra safeguard, stored in our system. Too many families say “no” to organ donation in spite of the individual’s wishes. Tattooing your choice is an excellent way to spread the message to friends and family. Not only will your wishes be clear, but your tattoo will be a constant visual reminder that they should consider becoming organ donors, too. Our goal is to change attitudes to organ donation, and get rid of long waiting lists, in the process undermining the black market that exists today worldwide. We want to help make the day a little less stressful for healthcare professionals and reward people’s kindness with a little extra care.
