Today, 17.11.2024, marks 3 incredible years since we welcomed the very first patient at the clinic in Kyrgyzstan!

We celebrated this milestone yesterday with our amazing patients, and we are thrilled to share that in just three years, we have cared for over 119,000 people in the rural areas of Kyrgyzstan. What an unforgettable journey it has been!

We humbly thank The Late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Program for Charity Works (KAAP), managed by the Islamic Development Bank, for their trust in us.

On July 21st, 2023, we suffered a terrible loss. Our father, mentor, founder and CEO of Normeca, Jan Y. Karlsen, passed away after battling with cancer for more than a year. He was such a wise man; hard worker and he had a drive unlike anything anyone have ever seen. The loss is difficult to process, and it is hard to imagine that he is no longer among us. He has left some big prints in all our hearts and his presence will be deeply missed; his presence is already deeply missed ❤

To all Jan’s friends around the world who don’t have the possibility to join us in Norway to mourn the untimely passing of Jan Y. Karlsen we invite you to join us via live stream.
The ceremony will take place in Lørenskog Church, tomorrow Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at 10.00 am CEST.
