Neue Design Studio, Heydays, and Kurppa Hosk are merging to form Scandinavia’s largest branding agency, Kurppa Hosk, with over 120 employees across offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Chicago, and New York. This powerhouse collaboration will push creative boundaries, combining our expertise to deliver world-class design, strategy, and digital solutions for clients locally and globally. In collaboration with we are hosting the launch of Atelie Editions titled 'I as an other'. The event will be held at 18:00 on Thursday 27.04 at our office, which was previously the location for the Art academy.

In the summer of 2022 we moved into our new office space in Oslo. The building originated as Norges Georgrafisk Oppmåling (Norway’s Geographic Survey) and in later years was a part of the Academy of the Arts and functioned as an atelier for it’s students. We worked with Familien Kvistad on the interior vision to bring Neue’s story into such a unique and historical building.

A journey through the colors of Helgeland.

When husband and wife team Marte and Eric Ryan took over Marte’s great-grandmother’s farm in Herøy, Norway a life-long dream came true: to create a floating, sustainable micro hotel. Nordvær is the result of that dream—a comfortable 51-foot catamaran—where travellers will experience a unique voyage through the Norwegian Sea.

We partnered with Nordvær to create their visual identity, which was heavily inspired by the ever-changing light and colors of Helgeland’s landscape. Nordvær is a reflection of each guests’ stories and individual experiences—told through the same atmosphere and color palette as they experienced in Helgeland at that given moment in time.

New work for Øyo As

Established in 1882, Øyo has been delivering high-quality Norwegian products for well over a century. We worked together to update their brand assets, photography style and create their new website.

We were thrilled to partner with Anne Valeur who shot stunning photos from Øyo’s historic factory in Geilo.

After redesigning the visual identity for Tekna there was a need to find the spatial dimension of the brand - tell the same story online and offline.

We were tasked with designing a flexible studio space for events, lectures and courses that Tekna members could emotionally connect with in the same way they do with the rest of the brand.

We used Tekna’s key values, color palette and narrative to find and develop materials and props for different arenas and audiences. Everything from the walls, curtains, tables, lights and stands were designed and assembled to work seamlessly together or stand out individually. These flexible elements allow the space to easily change and adjust for member’s needs while always retaining Tekna’s narrative and personality.

The law firm Haavind wanted to stand out in a conservative and competitive industry while still being credible as a trusted partner.

Focused on the power of collaboration, the identity adapts to various communication scenarios and creates a contemporary space for the people and competence of the firm to shine. As the firm moves to new offices and increasing their efforts in selected areas such as technology and renewable energy, the simplicity of the identity gives attention to the most important matters at hand.
