Who do you think will perform better at work over the next 10 years?
The leader who’s overweight, low on energy, and constantly fighting fatigue?Or the one who’s strong, sharp, and in great physical shape?
Let’s be real.
In the short term?Being in shape doesn’t matter much. You can push through with:☕ A triple espresso🔥 A burning ambition📈 And pressure from a demanding boss.
But over 10–20 years?
It’s a gamechanger. Not being in shape doesn’t just drain your energy — it slowly erodes your X factor. The edge that makes you magnetic, decisive, consistent.
Here’s my theory:The person who ignores their body is far more likely to burn out, fall out of flow, and struggle to bounce back…than the one who prioritizes physical health alongside business success.
Because in the long run, it’s not about sprints. It’s about consistency. And burnout is the ultimate consistency killer.
So I’ll ask you this:Do you think health plays a bigger role in long-term career performance than we admit?Or can the body just grind forever?
👇 I’d love to hear your take.
