all women welcome, however the intention of village prenatal is to center the pregnant women, holding them in the vastness that the prenatal season entails.

we will gather, commune, share stories of excitement, hold you in your fears, and come back to the roots of what it means to dance in ritual.

village prenatal will be a donation based gathering, will be a minimum recommended donation of $15. please be prepared with either cash or venmo.
 to sign up, please click on the link below. otherwise, this link can be found through the inside space booking system, just as you would schedule for a regular appointment.
 we will be gathering on couches, chairs, and the floor, so if there is something on which you prefer to sit (like a bolster) please bring it with you.

additionally, you may want to consider bringing something to drink, a journal and pen, and an item that you feel holds significance to you that you may want present with you in your birth space. this is not mandatory, but merely an invitation.

we look so forward to gathering with you on the first saturday of the month moving forward.

VILLAGE PRENATAL AT THE INSIDE SPACE

NOVEMBER 1 from 3-4:15pm

join us for our first (of many) monthly village prenatals.

all women are welcome, however the intention of these gatherings is to center the pregnant woman as she moves through the sacred season of growing and preparing to welcome new life into this world.

this is a space in which birth stories are to revered, fears can be shared, prayers can be given, and hearts can be touched.

what to bring:

- we will likely be sitting on the ground, so if you feel the need, please bring a pillow or something comfortable to sit on.

-if you have something special that you will keep close to you during your birth, please feel free to bring a sacred item with you, as we come together to bless, not only the mother, but that which you may have with you through the process.

- bring water or a drink that you would like to sip

- music makers, hand drums, and shakers if you have

- a notebook and pen, if you’d like

special requests:

in order to hold the tenderness and potency of this space, we will ask that you leave your children at home (unless you have a non-mobile nursing babe). we thank you so deeply for your understanding.

exchange:

in order to maintain accessibility, we present this gathering as a donation based experience, with a minimum recommended donation of $15. please plan to pay either cash or via venmo

minimal walls, big windows, kids playing, individuals and families sprawled on the floor, and four chiropractic tables stationed in the midst of intentionally placed furnishings, artwork, books, and plants.

this is what you are likely to see upon entering the inside space.

so why the open space?

we exist with both an educated and an embodied understanding that healing does not happen siloed off behind closed doors.

healing happens in community.

where we can be witnessed.

where we can be held.

where we can be communed with.

where we can meet parts of ourselves that are only drawn out by being a part of a larger energetic and spiritual whole.

where your kids can see and, more importantly, feel that you, and they, are never truly alone in this world.

in the bliss, in the grief, in the joy, in the torment, in the anger, in the apathy, in the exuberance.

we are all in it, vulnerably and our humanness, together.

the bigness and openness and vastness of this space are here to meet you where you are. The quantum field is here to bring you what you (likely) didn’t know you needed, both in terms of the messaging and the connections to be had.

and the most beautiful part of it all?

the trust we, and many of you, have grown to hold in its importance.

a snippet of dr. gabs newsletter last week ✨

“It’s literally just a room.

You enter the building, door code permitting, ascend the seven stairs, make a right, and ascend the next ten and open the door.

Straight ahead is the bathroom, with the blinds (mostly) drawn, the orange, blue, and white resin hooks on the wall for coats and bags, and to the right…is where all of it happens.

It’s literally just a room.

When I close my eyes and reflect on the last nearly three years, I see our terra cotta wall. A wall that was present in its vastness upon our arrival in thecarriage house.

It sometimes seems as though the inside space has become synonymous with this earth toned wall, which is so ironic as it is not something I chose, but something we most certainly grew into, and certainly grew to love.

It almost seems as though this is the color of our transition into rootedness. A rootedness that we have cultivated over the last three years, not by trying desperately to do so, but by adopting a sense of malleability within the nature of our very mission. Allowing ourselves to be led deeply into what has become our calling within this community, both locally in Central Ohio and beyond.

The design team we have chosen to bring on has inquired about color palettes, querying as to what exactly our attachment was to our very own terra cotta accent wall, wondering how they could possibly tie it into that which we are birthing in this new space. I let them off the hook, telling them that this is a part of our story that we deem acceptable with which to part ways. (We can always paint something later, right???)”
