Hey there, soul sister.
Welcome back to a state of remembrance. My mission is to create restorative, nurturing and inspiring gatherings for women - to heal, grow and expand in community.

A Women´s Circle is a gathering of women who come together to co-create a space for mutual healing, support, nourishment and inspiration. Every facilitator does it differently, in their own unique way.

My women´s circles are very near and dear to my heart. They are my way of sharing with you everything that I love, my medicine, outside of yoga (even though I still sneak in some restorative poses in there!). Part ceremony, part forum to discuss spirituality, feminine wisdom and day-to-day triumphs and challenges… these women’s circles are a way to remember… all that we have lost, all there is to gain, and who we are at the core. A sacred container to remove our masks, put down our shields and meet each other - and ourselves! - with love, presence and understanding. If you are open, they can be a vehicle for belonging, self-inquiry and transformation.

In short, we open and close the circle with rituals and intention. In between, at the heart of it all you might say, you'll experience some restorative yoga, aromatherapy, live music / resonance and intimate circle shares. About halfway through, we get up and move (either through dancing, shaking or any other form of release) to allow us to ground and drop into our bodies before journalling (the process of writing is an act of self-reflection). Our final share allows us to go deep, to feel and express our truth, to be heard and held by like-minded soul-sisters also seeking growth and change.

Full Moon Circle: August Grain Moon

The August Full Moon, often called the "Grain Moon," marks a time when crops are ready for harvest. In many cultures, this moon holds special significance related to abundance, gratitude, and nature's cycle. The Grain Moon offers an opportunity to celebrate the hard work involved in cultivating the land and the gifts that nature bestows.

Traditionally, people have gathered to participate in rituals and ceremonies, which can include everything from music and dance to meditation and reflection on life's cycles. The August Full Moon encourages us to take time to appreciate what we have achieved and prepare for the months ahead. It's also a time to strengthen community and cultivate gratitude for what we have received.

It marks the peak of the harvest season – a time when fields of wheat, barley, and other grains are ripe and ready for gathering.

Symbolically, this moon represents
● Abundance & Gratitude: A moment to acknowledge and be thankful for the fruits of our labor, both literally from the earth and metaphorically from our efforts throughout the year.
● Ripening & Culmination: It signifies the culmination of growth, bringing projects and intentions to fruition.
● Preparation for the Future: As we gather the harvest, it's also a time to prepare for the cooler months ahead, reflecting on what we've collected and what we need to sustain us.
● Life, Death, & Rebirth: The cycle of the grain, from seed to harvest and back to seed, deeply connects to themes of transformation and renewal.

With 15 years of teaching experience and certifications in a variety of yoga styles, I’ve come to see yoga as a lifelong companion—something that’s supported me through life’s ups and downs and kept me endlessly curious. That curiosity has shaped how I teach, especially when it comes to creative sequencing.

I love designing classes that encourage you to explore new patterns and movements, sparking those moments of surprise and connection on the mat. My goal is to create an atmosphere where you feel challenged in the best way, have fun along the way, and discover something new to take with you into everyday life.

Dette kurset er for deg som ønsker å lære yoga både i praksis og teori.

I løpet av kurset går vi gjennom de ulike yogaposisjonene/asanas i en typisk vinyasatime. Du vil få anledning til å bli kjent med og teste de ulike stillingene med utgangspunkt i din egen kropp.

Du vil også bli introdusert for ulike grunnleggende puste-, meditasjons- og mantrateknikker som brukes i vinyasatimer.

I tillegg vil du få en grundig innføring i overgangene mellom stillingene, hvordan du kan gjøre disse og hvordan du kan øve deg på dette i yogatimene og i din hjemmepraksis.

KURS: TRAUMEBEVISST YOGA «Ut av hodet, inn i kroppen» med Eliann Tømmermo

Velkommen til kurs i traumebevisst yoga – et støttende og trygt rom for deg som ønsker å komme mer i kontakt med kroppen, følelsene og deg selv.

Livet setter spor. Både små og store erfaringer kan lagres i kroppen som spenninger, angst, uro, nummenhet, mageplager, søvnvansker eller diffuse smerter. Kanskje opplever du en vedvarende følelse av utrygghet – i egen kropp, i relasjoner, i møte med følelser eller i hverdagen generelt.

Dette kurset støtter deg i prosessen med å:

- Gjenopprette trygghet i kroppen
- Skape kontakt med egen intuisjon og verdier
- Finne mer mening, ro og tilstedeværelse i hverdagen

Gjennom seks samlinger jobber vi med:

- Rolige og tilstedeværende bevegelser
- Enkle pusteteknikker, meditasjon og avspenning
- Observasjon av kroppslige sensasjoner
- Sentrering og jording

Om Eliann: Eliann Tømmermo er yogainstruktør, terapeut i psykosyntese og erfaren sosialarbeider/miljøterapeut. Hun har jobbet med unge og voksne i 20 år, med særlig fokus på mennesker som har opplevd traumer og livsutfordringer.

Siden 2013 har hun undervist i ulike former for yoga, bl.a yoga med fokus på traumebevisst og terapeutisk praksis. Hun er særlig opptatt av å skape et rom som kjennes trygt – både fysisk og mentalt.

Velkommen til avspenning med gonger og andre akustiske instrumenter.

Gong lager lyder av forskjellige frekvenser som vibrerer lenge og skaper lydbølger. Derfor det kan kalles gongbad, da du "bader" i lyder. Mange opplever lyder fra gong som både fascinerende og magiske. De fleste kommer i en meditativ tilstand og i hverfall i en dyp avspenning.

Vi gjør noen myke øvelser for å roe ned kropp og sinn, slik at du får imot helende lyd vibrasjoner. Mellom gong innslagene (det er 3 forskjellige gonger) vil du også oppleve fascinerende toner fra syngeboller, transparente vibrasjoner fra sansula, oppløftende klang fra koshi klokker, beroligende lyder fra regnstikk, magiske lyder fra chakra og månetrommer, samt andre akustiske instrumenter.

Om Maria Andersen:
Maria har undervist yoga siden 2011. For henne er yoga et terapeutisk verktøy, både når det gjelder å lære å kjenne mer sin egen kropp, oppleve mer bevegelsesfrihet, samt selvutvikling gjennom bedre kontakt med sitt eget system.

Maria har utdannelse og underviser i mediyoga, yin yoga, restorativ yoga, neurogenic yoga, yoga somatics, mindful yoga, yoga nidra, qigong Ba Duan Jin og Taijiwuxigong. Maria er også gongyogalærer og gongterapeut, og intuitiv spiller, bruker gonger og andre akustiske instrumenter for avspenning og under.
