Godt å tenke på at det mest hensiktsmessige fins tilgjengelig alltid- i oss selv - selv om det kan føles nesten umulig å avstå fra spontane reaksjoner… Litt som å klø på myggstikk?
Where Real Spiritual Growth Happens...The most important truth is this:
Spiritual growth doesn’t happen only when you’re meditating or sitting on a yoga mat.
Those moments are important — they train awareness.
But real growth happens in the middle of life.
It happens in conflict.
When you’re frustrated.
When you’re angry.
When you’re scared.
It happens when your old habits are about to take over — the same reaction, the same words, the same defense — and suddenly, you notice.
🍃 You notice the tightness in your chest.
🍃 You notice the urge to react.
🍃 You notice the familiar pattern rising.
And in that moment, something powerful appears:
👉 Choice.
That pause — even for a second — is growth.
Choosing not to lash out.
Choosing not to shut down.
Choosing not to repeat what you’ve always done.
Buddhist mindfulness teaches that awakening is not escaping life, but meeting it with awareness. Enlightenment is not perfection — it’s responsibility for your reactions.
Meditation prepares you for the moment.
Life tests whether you learned anything.
🌱 Every time you respond instead of react,
every time you choose understanding over ego,
every time you break an old pattern —
you are practicing real spirituality.
Growth isn’t calm incense and silence.
Growth is choosing differently when it’s hardest.
That’s where transformation lives.
