Do what you can, when you can

It's the same for each area of your life that you want to 'improve'. It's not the single drastic changes, but it's the small consistent efforts you make every day that add up BIG TIME and count towards your final purpose.

A sunny afternoon creating a whole VIBE SITUATION

Soaking up the warmth and magic of the sun.

As the days get darker, it becomes a celebration and offering of gratitude to experience.

Flowing in the morning doesn’t come natural for me.

We all have a different time of day where our energy and strength is at its highest (or lowest).

But I was up, and took advantage of the opportunity.

It’s slow, it’s intuitive, it’s what I need in that moment.

No pressure to pose, to be dressed in your best gear, to look fit.

Just showing up for me time - however I look (dressing gown and all)

To just BE

What does your home practice look like?

This space of joy doesn’t exist unless I create it.⠀

Every day we are presented the opportunity to see life for its beauty or its pain. We get to make that choice.⠀

I don’t have a dedicated space to practice yoga (yet) so I am using my quest to create spaces that feel beautiful and nourishing. ⠀

I am loving my to spend 22mins of yoga for 22 days. Day 11/22⠀

22 mins a day for 22 days

A snapshot in 1 minute. Day 10/22

The first few days I didn't record my practice. I thought, I don't need to, it's just my personal practice.

But it soon became part of my process.

I am using this time to be intuitive in my flow. Not think about what is around me. Be present.

Then a thought or idea would emerge and I would want to write it, but I didn't want to stop my flow.

Now I can express myself visually and verbally. Let it flow with my practice and play it back.

22 mins a day for 22 days

Putting aside the time and space to practice.

Finding inspiration for creating new sequences. Listening for new ways to serve my self and students.

I am on a quest to practice yoga for 22 mins a day for 22 days.

What’s the difference between a quest and a challenge.

‘Quest’ - a search or pursuit made in order to find or obtain something.

‘Challenge’ - a call to prove or justify something.

It’s not here to make me struggle or push my self.

It’s a journey to encourage me to expand and grow. To release the resistance and go with the flow. To be present in my body for 22 minutes.

22 minutes… It seems so short. It seems too simple. Is that enough time to practice yoga?

In my head, I want to practice longer. However most days I don’t have the time to practice for 60 mins, so I end up being inconsistent.

22 minutes for 22 days straight is more practice than I would normally do. It all adds up.

It gives me the motivation to say, I can do it every day, I have time for 22 minutes.

I am using this time and space to create a series of 22 min sequences to inspire YOU on your yoga journey. I invite you to join me.

FREE FRIDAY FLOW // PRACTICE WITH ME

‘Free Friday Flow’ over in 👉👉 Green Yoga Community.

Please feel welcome to join our ‘Sangha’ (community) and invite anyone who you think would be interested. It’s a FREE group.

This 25 minute sequence is a mindful steady flow, focusing on hip opening and balance.

Each week is a new sequence. Classes are 20-30mins to get you flowing and then into the rest of your day.

I would love to build an inclusive community where yoga (and life topics) can be discussed, with weekly online sequences, inspiration, and yoga challenges.
