🚀 Exciting News from TOPRO Industri AS! 🚀

We are excited to welcome Nicolai Skarsgård as our new CEO, starting May 15, 2024. Nicolai, a medical doctor with a background in emergency medicine and urology, previously co-founded Hjemmelegene, making a significant impact on healthcare in Norway.

Chairman Lars Mariero shares, "Nicolai's experience and leadership will be key in guiding TOPRO through its next growth phase.

On the last day of the year, it’s time to summarize 2023 and look forward.

2023 have been yet another exciting year. A year where we have more than doubled our production output and delivered products to more customers than ever before. It’s truly exciting to see that what started as a sketch idea many years ago, is today enabling customers to remain active and safe in their own home, also in places far away.

During the fall of 2023 Assitech was officially merged with our parent company TOPRO Mobility. This is the natural next step to ensure that we are set up for growing our business at high pace also in the years to come.

Thank you to everyone who have contributed along the way in 2023. We look forward to working with all of you on the next step of the journey in 2024🙂🥳

Which country have the steepest stairs? We don't know for sure, but we're confident that 🇳🇱The Netherlands🇳🇱 is high up on that ranking🗻😆 Here are two recently completed installations from outside Amsterdam and Middelburg! Good to know that the TOPRO Step can be delivered for stairs up to 55 degree inclination🙌

OUR STORY

We began our work developing the AssiStep as students at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) back in 2012. Our aim was to make a completely new and revolutionary walking aid to enable more people to live at home for as long as they wish.

The result was the award-winning stair assistant AssiStep.

After a comprehensive development process in cooperation with users and therapists, the AssiStep was tested and certified by the widely recognized German inspection and certification group TÜV in 2015 - and the AssiStep was market ready.

Since launching, we’ve travelled Europe far and wide to show off how the AssiStep can help people. We’ve visited countless rehabilitation centres, municipalities, therapists and private people who enjoy the benefits of the AssiStep every day. This has given us a lot of attention and recognition, like when crown prince Haakon and crown princess Mette-Marit were themselves able to try the AssiStep, with great enthusiasm.
