Diabetes continues to rise rapidly in Nepal, and the number of people living with the condition is expected to increase even more by 2040. Early detection, lifestyle modification, and regular screening are essential to prevent complications and protect long-term health.

1.3 million people in Nepal are living with diabetes in 2025
Projected to reach 2.8 million by 2040
3.8 million deaths worldwide in 2024 due to diabetes
