Important issue: Nepalese medical students studying in Pakistan are facing serious difficulties returning home due to the continued closure of the Wagah–Attari land border, according to the Society of Nepalese Doctors in Pakistan (SNDP). With over 90% of the community being students, many are unable to afford expensive air travel via third countries like Dubai.
We request the Government of Nepal to initiate diplomatic efforts to reopen the land route or arrange a special transit facility to ease their return.

वरिष्ठ चिकित्सक प्रा. डा. ढुण्डिराज पौडेलले भरतपुर अस्पतालको अध्यक्ष पदबाट राजीनामा दिएका छन्। तर चर्चा राजीनामाको मात्र छैन, उनको 'त्याग' को छ:

• भत्ता फिर्ता: लिएको बैठक भत्ता सबै अस्पतालकै खातामा फिर्ता गर्ने घोषणा।

• कुर्सीको मोह छैन: नयाँ सरकार आएपछि "जनभावना र नैतिकता" भन्दै पद त्यागे।

• स्वयंसेवी सेवा: पद नभए पनि अस्पतालमा 'बिना पैसा' उपचार सेवा जारी राख्ने बाचा।

• ठूलो सपना: भरतपुर अस्पताललाई 'मेडिकल कलेज' र अनुसन्धान केन्द्र बनाउन सरकारलाई चुनौती।
